I'm just dropping in because the finale is so close it's kinda getting me sentimental? I've seen a few leaks of Negan here and there and it's only just now clicked that sure, you went through different FCs but one thing I noticed is throughout you've been playing Negan close to comic canon, and WEIRDLY close to how JDM seems to be playing him and that takes real talent and I love that we write together and the fact this is only the beginning is amazing. All those body bags...the Army and National Guard vehicles that had been just abandoned outside the hospital...the child in her slippers and robe that had no senses left to her.
He’d done what he thought was right...like putting down a rabid dog that was attempting to attack it’s owner. He’d had to do that as a teenager for his neighbor, but this was so different and his foggy mind had trouble processing everything.

Whatever it was, Negan knew more than likely Rick was only coming down against his liking. There was never a moment when Rick’s face wasn’t twisted with displeasure at the words Negan spat, but that just drove Negan to say more. Seeing him in such a way- why, it was like a game show. Just waiting for the moment he could win the lottery.
