DAKOTA FANNING as Polly VICIOUS (2025), dir. Bryan Bertino
Vicious
2025
literature & horror movie enjoyers when the isolated protagonist has yellow walls
literally me taking calls
Imo the Vicious movie is getting more hate than it deserves. True, it's light on actual storyline/thematic impact (lighter than I suspect it was intended to be), but it's a solid entry into the category of Would This Be Fucked Up Or What. And we need movies like that!
Vicious (2025)
Vicious (2025) Oh dear! Another bad new film. It’s been a surprise ever since! We’ve lost count of the number of times we’ve been disappointed by modern films. And this one just drags on and on and on… What an ordeal! There’s no need to create new forms of torture with this kind of film. No, Vicious won’t renew the genre. No, it’s no match for It Follows (2014). No, it’s not original. Yes,…
After seeing only half of Vicious (really boring movie), it is occurred to me, that after witnessing horrors beyond comprehension, going through psychological torture, chopping your fingers off, faced with inevitability of death, main heroine still had to go to work the next day, to do double shift no less. Like yeah, devil is hunting me, but I need to pay rent and my boss is the bitch. The fact, that she didn't pass curse to the boss instead of some random woman is wild, tho I guess the box controls who you pass it to? Anyway, boring movie, nothing new, life sucks, tomorrow's Monday.
