Waves are good. Make some.
When fear and shame push us to copy the crowd, we risk living someone else’s life. Everyone loses when that happens; we won’t be the best family member, coworker, or friend we can be unless we’re authentic and whole.

i remember the jennifer knapp scandal i remember being on the forums and people saying she cannot have both lives that it’s one or the other that she was leading her own listeners down the wrong path. my own parents heard the story and i remember my mom saying “shame she chose to become a lesbian but she’s wrong she can’t be gay and a christian” and i remember thinking “well can’t she??? she says she still loves God and wants to follow Him so why can’t she ??????” but i never debated it because anytime I tried it turn into an argument.
