It must suck to be a person who miss the subtext you miss out on so many things. You also come off as stubborn and a bit behind when you just miss the point of what's being layed out in front of you. Many things that didn't have a subtext in the fall also got misunderstood even if we had Stella and other characters be that other end of the spectra telling the audience that this is what we aren't ok with because this is how one conducts one self in the company of others. Ms. Frost's one of those.
A friend of mine has this really interesting theory *waving at @schwarmerei1* that most queer people are subtext readers, because we search for clues for our ships outside what is said by the actors. So we are on the lookout for a glance or a touch, and because of this we catch a lot of other things that aren’t made obvious for the casual viewer.
Subtext reader: “wow did you see the look she threw her?”
Casual viewer: “So, they looked at each other, so what?”
The Fall is not a show for everybody, and it’s obviousy not a show for Ms. Frost.
