@viclated liked for a starter.
A single blue optic noticed the figure of another feline. What was he doing that far out in the forest? Why was he just standing there? Ah. It seemed that tom might be in a bit of trouble. He noticed the Ribika that had him pinned against a tree. Usually, he wouldn’t have batted an eyelid. Just let them settle their disputes on their own. Though, it just so happened, that he was hunting for those Ribika. They were a group of outlaws that he’d been paid to exterminate. He gave a small sigh before he pulled his sword from his scabbard.
His slitted eye narrowed as he leaped high into the air. He landed neatly upon one of the branches of a nearby tree, moving elegantly amongst the forest. It didn’t take him long to reach the scene. He jumped down in front of the other tom; his eyes narrowed. He would deal with him at a later time, once he dealt with the outlaws in front of him. What a shame, that he had to kill other Ribika. Their numbers were already dwindling, thanks to the plague. But that was what he’d been paid to do, so he had no other choice.
The tom didn’t wait for the others to make the first move. He gritted his teeth, revealing sharp fangs, before leaping at one of the other cat’s assailants. They pulled out their own weapons, attempting to slash at him in retaliation. Rai was fighting alone and it seemed that the odds could be stacked against him. But he shouldn’t be underestimated. He was a skilled warrior. He was able to dodge many of the blows aimed at him.
It took little time at all for him to dispatch the other Ribika. By the time he was finished, the area was painted red. He turned his attention to the feline behind him, fixing him with a fierce stare. “Are you stupid?” He hissed through gritted teeth. “You’re going to get yourself killed like that. Cats around here don’t take kindly to---” Fait’s scent caused his irritated voice to die in his throat. He smelled foreign. Did he not live in Sisa?
