Finally the final seansling or victer-ling?
Victer is actually who the original guy who became sensory stack was before his transformation.
“Grabby” is blind deaf lacks a tongue and can’t smell. So he just kinda sits around and eats things that feel like food he remembers (mainly sandwiches) he is recruitable if you walk up to him and hold his hand to lead him back to Sam’s apartment. He can pack a punch if you attack him but his accuracy is abysmal.
If you have grabby in your apartment and feed him for a few days he grows and becomes Victer.
Victer has regrew an eye and thanks to his senes of touch being so strong he can feel the vibrations is the air to hear even small whispers, yelling is to much though he won’t even try to figure out what you’re saying if you yell at him he just runs and hides. The other apartment dwellers have mix reactions to victer Sophie and Joel are awkward around him since they thought grabby was a new pet, Leigh is disappointed that he is completely sane, Audrey and are glad to have another sane cursed to relate to, and papineau is glad that victer likes to keep things tidy.
I’m not entirely sure what his apartment interactions would be (probably a future post) but I do know that he and Audrey would get along pretty well.
Some extra tidbits on HOW the seance-lings work, each one of them actually have a copy of Victor’s conciseness but because of their unique biology’s they differ vastly, screaming sight is the only one who remembers what the visitor looks like and as a result it’s copy of victor is essentially burned away as soon as it forms, burning wax and sniffer dog lack the necessary neurons to form complex thoughts and quickly devolve into animalistic behaviors, and tongue tied simply isn’t able to adapt to his new body and goes insane.
Victer knows he is just a copy of victor (thus the small change in name) this does give him some advantages over other cursed, he lacks muscle memory and his brain is wired to use his new biology so he probably has better body awareness and control then other cursed are even capable of, he is experiencing extreme existentialism thanks to this predicament though but overall he’s doing pretty fine.
The design of victer was simple but very fun to draw probably won’t draw him often with how many arms he has though.
I think victer is my favorite of the seance-lings simply by virtue of him having a character that I can write, but design-wise he’s like 2nd or 3rd. Still love his design though.
