Pete sent me the video below titled, ‘Alien Song’ made by, Victor Navone.
I really liked watching this short animation.
It is all built around the song, ‘I will survive’ by Gloria Gaynor.
The animation brings a real flair to the song which was great to see.
The lip syncing matches with the music. And the action that goes with the song is a great little touch.
The way this is shot is great to see, as the shots offer a great look into the action. Especially when it goes from the beginning of being sat on a chair to getting up and start pacing.
At the end it’s a great touch to the animation. As the Alien is pacing and says “I will survive” a massive disco ball falls and squashes the alien. This adds a great humorous out take, and was a great way to end.
Pete has told me to look into the person who created this so I definitely will.
I just realised that this is one of the animators of Monsters inc, Wall E, toy story 3 and finding nemo who did this omg.
