In a word, a well-rounded person with no sharp edges in their personality. This would be the near-perfect modifier to describe their outward appearance. It is safe to say that there is almost no such thing as them raging and sharply snapping at others aggressively because things do not go as intended. They are always calm, believing that all actions have their own reasons, and tend to resolve every incident with a smiling conversation and devotion. ─Because of this, they also hear a lot of reviews from people around them that they are frustrating and stubbornly naive.─ They do their absolute best in their healing work, to the point of it being close to volunteer service. They display kindness and goodwill to everyone, wishing to be of even a little help to anyone. Even if you experience failure, as long as they can help, they will willingly pour out encouragement and devotion filled with love so that you can stand up again. Looking only at the surface, they would be no different from an angel in white who has descended upon the world.

However, they neither wore white robes, nor was their inside able to be pure white. They revere and sanctify all life and all humans to an extreme degree. Their well-tempered and sharp steel-like will, and their infinite universe-like potential... They absolutely long for and praise that illusion. Perhaps they believe in them even more than the god they themselves believe in. To the point of it being close to 'faith'.

To them, 'being alive' is judged as the most beautiful thing. The more strongly that is felt, the more so. Therefore, they could not help but inevitably feel beauty in the appearance of humans struggling to live while suffering. A twisted desire to enjoy the suffering of others is basically dormant within them, but when they think of those lives overcoming the fever stained with pain, hardening their resolve again, and fully exerting their abilities to achieve victory, they feel that there was nothing more noble and beautiful than that. What a beautiful life! Therefore, if they can just watch over that great scene and grow to resemble them, it would be such an honor and unbearably joyful.

They never oppose humans. No matter what purpose they hold, they wish to maintain the position of a 'devoted supporter' who, to the end, observes and wants to help them. They themselves also know that the wretched desire of a lowly creature to enjoy their pain is wriggling inside them, but they acknowledge it. Yet, despite that, they believe their love and reverence are genuine. Even if it is nothing more than self-justification.

They open their spellbook, draw a magic circle, and chant an incantation. This heals the target while simultaneously granting a temporary buff that enhances the target's abilities. Unless it is a critical injury on the level of instant death, healing is possible, even if it takes time. Their excellent healing ability is partly due to their devoted nursing, but it also owes a great deal to this sorcery, which reconstructs the body more brilliantly the more critical the wound is. However, the downside is that the sorcery also includes an awakening effect. Therefore, whether the target wants it or not, they experience the awakening effect. While this often leads to excellent performance in battle, if care is not taken, it can cloud their reason and turn them into a berserker who does not care about water or fire. It remains unknown whether the caster does this intentionally.

Characteristic

● They are a person whose inner mind is completely unreadable. The moment you get caught up in their words, everything will go exactly as they intend.

● Their main duties are treating the injured and engaging in external missionary volunteer work.

Originally, a culture of embracing the defeated should not have existed, but due to Ciel's influence, the defeated have also become subjects of embrace.

A missionary who leads even weak heretics to repentance. It is quite a plausible image, isn't it?

● They are addressed as Ciel or Father Valentine.

● They have a typical puppy-like face but possess exceptionally long limbs.

They originally have three pairs of arms, but fearing that people might be frightened, they usually hide two pairs under their cape or conceal them entirely with sorcery.

For the same reason, they often cover the three eyes on the left side of their face with an eyepatch.

● Although they possess raw power, their combat skills are close to zero.

They are specialized entirely in supporting and healing allies; their ability to directly face enemies is non-existent.

If they feel it absolutely won't work out, they might resort to striking the enemy with a thick book, but that is about it...

● While they have studied medicine, their primary major lies in magic and sorcery.

Their treatment methods show many differences from the treatment style of 'D', who is proficient in medical and pharmaceutical technology.

● They were not originally human. They are a spider that acquired a human body through a contract with a devil.

They refer to their past self as a lowly creature and do not particularly like it.

● The small spider, who yearned to live blended in among them, offered its two most beautiful eyes and its deadly venom to the devil in exchange for an adult human body. The spider's two eyes were as beautiful as gems, and its deadly venom was a potent substance capable of killing absolutely any being other than a god with a single dose. However, none of these matter to Ciel anymore.

● 'Ciel' is a name they chose for themselves, and 'Valentine' is the surname of the priest who took care of them when they first became human. The priest took pity on Ciel, who knew absolutely nothing of the world, took them in, and cared for them like their own child. Ciel followed that priest closely as well. However, the current whereabouts of that priest are completely unknown.

● Under the devil's influence, their body does not age; thus, they have lived with the exact same appearance for over 20 years.

While they possess an ageless body, it does not mean they are immortal.

● To resemble and assist the 'intelligent beings' they admire, they immersed themselves in studying magic and medicine. As a result, their current skills are fully comparable to those of high-ranking mages.

● They mostly spend their time researching knowledge through books and playing puzzle games. Their favorite books are related to anthropology.

They have no talent for games other than puzzles, nor for cooking, and they barely know how to look at machinery.

● They tend to dislike committing slaughter themselves. Even if they engage in a fight, they usually stop at merely inflicting injuries.

● They do not get along well with KissMe.

While Ciel does not outright loathe KissMe, they somehow feel that KissMe falls short of their expectations. They frequently offend KissMe by openly badmouthing him as foolish and weak to his face. Even so, they still hope that KissMe will overcome this trial someday (even though KissMe hates them).

I have victorism headcannons and I cannot avoid brain rot:

*D is a tsundere, You cannot convince me otherwise

*Ai and D could be actually slightly close, Or at least slightly more casual to each other (I had to cut a whole ramble about it so apologies for being vague)

*If D and Aruell got along there could be a chance they could manage to actually escape the cult or defeat Lorica, who knows?

*Ciel has no fashion sense, (they have no food taste so fashion less likely)

*KissMe has likely flirted with every one in the church except Ai and Ciel

*There is a chance that Lorica has seen Parma and Ensis but she doesn’t regonize them because of how time has passed and that they look so different

*D probably has tried (weather they succeeded or not) to save some people from getting killed by the cult

*D might be the one with the most power (based on their skill) so Lorica values that but at the same time hates D’s rebellious nature (It’s like a love hate thing but it’s not really love or anything along those lines) <—— NOT CANNON, DISPROVEN

*D doesn’t get attached to anybody in the cult because they plan to escape and they don’t want to emotionally hurt somebody when they leave (if they manage to)

- When D was a nun, other nuns avoided them and gossiped about them because D got sick so easily

- D hates the sound of laughing

- D is very sensitive to temperature, they can easily get too hot or too cold

- KissMe talks to himself when he’s alone

- KissMe doesn’t need to eat because he is a modified human, but he loves the taste of spicy food  

- KissMe doesn’t understand the concept of most jokes but laughs whenever he hears a joke anyway

- Aruell scratches and pulls his fingers whenever he feels more stressed than usual

- Aruell usually distracts himself from having introspective thoughts by reading books 

- Aruell dislikes books that don’t have enough pages 

- Ciel isn’t a picky eater at all, aside from bugs and worms, they will eat literally any food 

- Ciel stalks random people for fun in their free time

He is taciturn, quiet, and calm. He has a strong image of a so-called bookworm or model student. He is always looking one step ahead of others, and though he is gentle, he does not give off a warm feeling; his overall image is cautious and cool. He tends to look at almost all events inquisitively, and always has an analytical attitude. ─Since he has a fairly cold-headed attitude during these times, he can be felt as quite heartless.─ However, contrary to this taciturn appearance, he is skilled at grasping other people's minds, and is a wise person who also knows well how to deal with them accordingly. With an attitude that is not warm but also not completely cold, he receives a not-bad evaluation within the religious order. Since he often listens to the confessions of the believers who visit him and gives them advice along with blessings, the believers who follow him are also quite many.

While he is a person who always seeks answers and balance in all problems, there are many cases where he shuts his eyes and passes by the absurdities within the religious order. Since flipping what the opponent knows is not an easy task even for him as a researcher, he uses it only to the extent of occasionally causing interference.

● He is an assistant to the Cult Leader and Q. While he might disregard others, he never disobeys Q's orders.

If necessary, he is skilled enough to go head-to-head with Heart. If you mistook him for a frail nerd who just sits around reading books, you would be a gravely mistaken.

Victorism Headcannons part two!

*Otto (D’s lover who appeared in Nueul’s old account) was actually killed either by Lorica herself or somebody did it ordered by Lorica

*D feels bitter about some of the messed up shit they had to do for the cult, They still regret it to this day. People know even if D tries to hide it.

*Aruell probably leaves the area when somebody decides to beat the shit out of D (because it could trigger Aruell or because even if he is a jerk towards D, Aruell isn’t somebody who would just use them as a punching bag)

*Aruell and Daphne would have spent time at the library, reading together and/ or having a confortable silence

*KissMe would crush spiders in front of Ciel as a threat

*KissMe would be the one who is most constantly in Aruell’s office (Aka therapy time)

*Ciel has bothered KissMe for the giggles

*Ciel probably has to heal most of D’s wounds, even if D refuses
