How To Become A Video Game Programmer in 2019
As a human being, we all need to rest, get rid of stress, diversify our daily routine, and overall enjoy life. Tastes of people vary. Everyone has his or her understanding of entertainment. Everyone is busy with different things. Someone is a cook in a restaurant. Another one is a Video Game Programmer. Someone prefers to lay down on the sand at the seashore and enjoy the view of the sunset. Another person enjoys spending all night at a crowded nightclub dancing under high volume music. Others enjoy simply spending time hanging out with their friends in a pub or at home. Nevertheless, even though we are all different, there are some activities which we all love to do. We enjoy listening to music, enjoy watching movies or tv series and, of course, playing video games.
If I ask you, how do you think the total sales of which one of the industries mentioned above are more, what is going to be your answer? Most probably you would say that the film and music industries are more profitable. A significant number of sales of Avengers Endgame, which recently reached 2.7 billion and became the world's best selling movie would make you thing like that. Concerts of rock and pop stars with many thousands of audience and billions of views on YouTube would also affect your choice. However, statistics would show you than numbers are quite competitive. Grand Theft Auto V video game sales beat 1 billion dollars in just three days. In the last two decades, the entertainment industry has significantly grown. It takes almost half of the US GDP, and that growth is mainly associated with the increase in the gaming industry. You don't make home out of human beings, -
I am my home.
Repeat: I am my home.
And I am a strong one at that.
I am strong; -
Now to get back on track.
Vent
At this point of my life i don't know how my future is like. I'm going to school for video game programming and video animation. It's what I love to do but what really worries me is that "WHAT IF" I go on debt and can't pay my student loan? Or what not. I don't wanna be stuck with debt. I wanna live my life with no financial debt or expenses. Growing up really sucks and I regret ever wanting to grow up fast. Ugh.

My Goals
So, after I finish my college in 2 years I want to create a video game that will become a one hit wonder. If I do create that one hit wonder world wide, I will build my own game company so I can create sequels to that one hit wonder and earn millions of dollars hopefully. Then I can create some of the best video games anyone could ever play. Maybe even work for pixar and help them create some of the disney video games for kids and family . Oh, well until then I’ll keep this in mind, lets create that one hit wonder first!
