Dear Gus & Magnus,
Unlike previous Summits when all we had to do Friday morning was pack up and head home, this year's Summit included programming on Friday through lunch. My body was so spent that I wasn't much good to anyone today. I'm ready to be home and able to relax.
This is the only photo I took today, from when Collin tried to re-close the Video Van door at 50 miles an hour. It didn't work. We had to pull over.

Dear Gus & Magnus,
Last time I flew to Frisco, I got a Lyft driver who had an engineering degree. I recruited him to come work for Garver, and we reconnected in that office today. (More of that story here.)
Our video shoot ran long today, so I didn't make it home until after everyone had gone to bed. Also, my seatbelt in the Video Van is broken and sometimes I can't get it to release, so I had to crawl out of it when we stopped for dinner.

On our way to Tulsa, we had to stop in Fayetteville to get some photos of Zach Moore. He crammed into the Video Van with us so we could go to a separate location and Darla took this photo to share with the rest of the Comm Team. We spent the night in Tulsa, where we'll film at the office in the morning.

Dear Gus & Magnus,
I loaded up into the video van with Bryan & Darla this morning and hit the road bound for a few Oklahoma construction project sites, the Tulsa office, and the Fayetteville office this week. I usually sit in the back so I can work on my laptop while they take turns driving. This morning we were all in the Monday morning Comm Team meeting, though, and Darla kept her phone next to her ear so she could hear better. I liked being able to see Bronco and everyone on the video call/her phone. I know you two will have spent your whole lives being able to see the person you're talking to on the phone, but it still feels like yesterday when we were told this magic would be possible in our homes, much less while traveling 80 miles per hour down the interstate.

Dear Gus & Magnus,
After a long day of shooting in Tampa in two separate locations for multiple videos, we hit the road for Boca Raton, three and a half hours southeast. We stopped for dinner in Bartow, then got to Boca at 11:15pm. Today was a long day and we are all spent. One more full day of filming, then I'll drop these guys at the airport in Fort Lauderdale and start the long drive home.
Mom said Magnus has felt better and will likely go back to school tomorrow.
