Bit-Tray is a videogame controller designed for players with medium dexterity (i.e. users with carpal tunnel syndrome). Bit-Tray is designed for players to play videogames without having to bend their joints in their fingers. Bit-Tray's final process includes modelling, building and assembling various pieces of MDF (medium density fibreboard) & blue foam, soldering and programming an Arduino Pro Mini with 5 buttons and a joystick and programming the Arduino alongside a game I designed, programmed and did art assets for in Unity. For how I got to this stage, have a look at my timeline showcased at my exhibit. Bit-Tray is a project done by Marishka Zachariah from the Digital Futures undergraduate program. Additional thanks for Connor & Erin for participating in this video! Music by Mark Sparling
