"Fantasmas do Cotidiano" por Almanaque
Between the suffering
and anger
we were born.
Evil is the earth
where we came into the world,
and through
the scars of the past
and the tears of the present
we become stronger,
powerful
and cruel.
We are the kings of the night,
we reign
on the city lights
and on desolation
of our soul.

Note: This poems was supposed to be a song inspired by the Måneskin’s music,
In particular “Morirò da Re”, and It had to be the theme of my story.

I wrote the poem OF in New York during the Arab Spring. The Arab Spring broke my heart. I felt that the internet provided a bulletin board in the middle of Tahir square. I was foolish.
