anybody wants to do this girl’s statistics presentation tomorrow?????
i finally watched 'call me by your name' and i have no words to describe what’s in my heart, i feel so soft and vulnerable and still in my own world. the most beautiful thing is that it made me feel welcome. that i felt as if i knew and got to know the characters, their home, their lives. that they allowed me to become a part of that (kinda like oliver actually). it was almost as if i had had a distant memory of them before and by watching the movie it all became palpable.. i'm being so ominous, but my heart is ten times its size and idk how to articulate all the love i’m feeling

If its not making you happy to be there and You're not taking classes that are going towards your degree I'd go home. There is no shame in admitting that something is just not for you. You don't sound particularly excited about the city or the classes and to me that just seems like a waste. What are you missing out on at home by forcing yourself to do something that isn't making you happy?
isn’t this great i asked for advice and then ignored it i suck i’m sorry. i stumbled upon your reply while linking this post to the one i just made where i talk about how i now decided to go home. thank you so much for reaching out, your words help make me feel better towards accepting it and moving on. it’s still so hard tho, because now that it’s decided of course now i’m starting to romanticize all that could have been had it worked out. i’m real big on ‘what if scenarios’. and it just frustrates me how it was all kinda out of my hands.....
it's 6:13 am and i already got a real treat today at work!! y'all ready? let's go!!
first, we got the totally backwards thinking younger than me 'supervisor' (so much for a woke generation): she not only supports food waste and once actually told me to my face "plastic is life" as a counter argument to me saying we shouldn't hand out plastic bags to our customers anymore. (apart from the fact that we work ON the exact environment that suffers the most from the waste industry); but she even just told me after i complained about an item we sell that's made out of real fur that "real fur is much better"!!! she just shrugged after i tried to reason with her about how unnecessary the torture is...
and second, we got another winner: the old grumpy dude who does nothing but complain about everything in the company. (some of the stuff i understand, i complain sometimes too, but he's also the dude who's pissed and rants all day bc his boss told him it's not okay to come to work late) but the energy he spents all day into trash talking the place he's worked at for 40 years is exhausting to me and i only have to listen to him talk. and while we're at it, why do i have to listen to him go on and on....? plus his dialect is making it so hard to understand more than 50% of what's coming out of his mouth... 🙄🙄
in conclusion: MAKE 👏🏻 EVERYBODY 👏🏻 STOP 👏🏻 TALKING 👏🏻 TO 👏🏻 ME 👏🏻
