La Reezy Drops "Family Bizzy" Video Single

New Orleans artist La Reezy shares new single and video "Family Bizzy," a heartfelt tribute to the people, traditions, and everyday moments that define Black American family life.

"Family Bizzy" also offers an early glimpse into the themes driving La Reezy's newly announced debut album, Skiddle Bandana, arriving Tuesday, July 7. The album’s title reflects Reezy's broader artistic mission: "Skiddle" represents the vibrant energy, creativity, and cultural influence of Black people, while "Bandana" symbolizes unity, pride, and the carrying of collective stories across generations. Together, the title serves as a framework for music that is deeply personal while speaking to a shared experience.

In many ways, "Family Bizzy" embodies that vision. Recently earning a co-sign from Juicy J on a snippet of the track, the song finds Reezy documenting the cultural touchstones that often go unspoken yet feel instantly familiar across Black households, from family meals and homegrown haircuts to younger relatives contributing their talents wherever they're needed. Rather than relying on broad stereotypes of Southern or Black life, Reezy focuses on the specific details that reveal something universal: the ways families invest in one another, create opportunities for one another, and preserve culture through everyday acts of love and responsibility.
