Himalayan Balsam or other names Policeman's Helmet, Bobby Tops, Copper Tops, and Gnome's Hatstand (Impatiens glandulifera, Jättipalsami), is a large annual plant native to the Himalayas. The fruit is a five chambered capsule. When touched, the mature capsule explodes and ejects up to 800 seeds. It is an alien specie, takes the living space from the local plants, and here in Viertola everywhere along the River Keravanjoki, Vantaa, Finland
