I NEED you guys to see this right now. This is my favorite sculpture/work of physical art and it’s a crime that more people don’t know about it.
Carroña (English, Carrion)
This thing was absolutely GORGEOUS in person and it's so fgkfgindf radical because look at it!!!! The bloody disemboweled corpse of beauty!!! Holy shit!! I adore this sosossoo much and I love intentional destruction of art and aaaaaaaa
This is a work done by Spanish artist Javier Pérez in 2011, and it's currently being held in the Corning Museum of Glass (NY). CMoG's artwork page (go read it, it has more info on Pérez's other creations!) describes the piece:
"This sculpture consists of an elaborate chandelier whose many parts were blown and tooled of transparent blood-red glass, assembled and hung, then intentionally dropped. A flock of taxidermied crows perches on the fallen carcass, and shards dangle from their mouths. The installation is meant to evoke opportunistic birds gobbling carrion by the side of the road, a metaphor for the gradual disappearance of Murano’s traditional glass industry."
Pérez also has it listed on his personal website. (Many of his works may be considered disturbing for some, so if you see a thumbnail you don't like in his portfolio, don't click <3)
this frame deserves its own post (22/31)

The simple answer for this question is really simple. Guest Blogging is when you get approval from the owner of a site to have your article printed. Depending upon just how much traffic this website that is kind of gets your visitor volume can improve drastically.
The difficult part is actually getting your idea to get a site post accepted! Now before you run off and start creating blog posts there are several key points to take into account here. I like to refer to the as blog etiquette! You do not desire to mistake guest blogging with leaving opinions that are blog. All these are two completely different individualities. Everyone can leave a blog comment on article or a post. Using a guest post you are being given in case you just like the chance to produce your own solo ad or the limelight! Take advantage of your business as well as this has the potential to burst overnight! The Benefits #keyword# #links# of Guest Blogging Of the main advantages of getting a guest post published are twofold. Yes, you may find an increase in traffic to your own own website. But you will even be receiving your name out to the city. This undoubtedly helps with branding yourself and your company. This exposure can cause you being introduced to other marketers and into business groups that could have positive effects on your overall business. It is a great idea to sit down and figure out what your targets are from guest blogging, to start off. Can you simply want to get links back to your own site? Are you after recognition in your field or over here ? Or maybe you are looking to network with other experienced marketers? Each of those are aims that are great and understanding exactly that which you desire to attain will help you get started with guest blogging in the best path. How to Find Sites to Post On The largest bit of advice we can give you here would be to find sites which are somehow linked to your market. You would like your article or blog post to be found on a site that contains information that is useful. This way it's going to look like an all-natural progression for the reader to follow any links back to your personal blog. You most likely already follow a number of websites, if you're active in your market. Add these to your record of possible locations to guest. Do not forget follow the writer's links back to their site and to look for guest posts. This might be yet another area for you to provide a guest post. Especially in the event the writer targeted a niche that is related, you can keep going in this way and in no time possess a huge listing of sites ready for the attack. They will never be targeted visitors, although posting on unrelated websites will still raise the amount of visitors you get to your own site. What we mean by this is the fact that they are going to not have sufficient interest to join to your mailing list to download a free report. They'll definitely not be buyers looking for the option that you just have to offer either. These types of visitors will be more of the typical freebie visitor just browsing. So why waste a good post on this type of traffic? Of locating related blogs the very best means we know would be to do an internet search in Google for your own market. Merely kind in blogs the name of your market By utilizing some variant of those terms or the following search strings some of the internet searches you'll be able to do are: You get the idea! It can be just a little time consuming while this method is effective. Here are two of our favourite ways which are a little faster: 1.Another manner is to just set up Google Alerts for blogs in your specialty. You could have the content sent to you as it occurs or once a day. Again, all you do is check each site out and find out whether it contains information that is related. If so, add it to your principal spreadsheet. 2. Use Google Reader and set up folders for associated information in your niche. Then each day merely check for sites who have just published new advice. Look at the blog and find out if it compliments your own site. If so, add it into your favorites or develop a spreadsheet with these details. You can also locate breaking news reports here, which will make the ideal content of guest posts. With those two measures after you have them set up you don't have to worry about hunting down sites. You will be notified of new blog posts each and every day. Plus, you will be in a position to keep on the top of which blogs are gaining more exposure and will target these ones. Your Next Steps Rationally once you've located a list of sites you want to begin contacting the blog owner. QUIT! Don't do this step right now. You want to become familiar with the website before contacting the blog owner,. We highly suggest that you simply get to the habit of leaving acceptable site opinions and reading this blog often. Key points to find are: ? Understand the level of the target visitor: are they intermediates beginners or advanced students? ? Who's the audience of this site? Are they other company owners, individuals or product buyers ready to get and looking for advice products? ? Have a look at the content, style: Are any of the blog posts in list form? Are posts written as tutorials and how to guides? Are the posts more or specific general? ? Check another guest blog post out and see when they have gotten tons of comments on the site. This is really a great indicator that the readers are reactive, if so. ? Take a look at what these guest posts are being made by type of marketers. Are they all well-known marketers or specialists in their own market? ? You're having your name in front of the website owner by leaving comments regularly. When you contact them by e-mail or instant message, this may really help, your name will not be unfamiliar plus they are more inclined to answer back to you personally promptly. Plus, if you leave helpful and valuable advice this person can easily see that you're someone who understands that which you are talking about. You might be setting yourself up as an authority in your niche! ? Leave remarks for a couple weeks before trying to contact the blog owner. When you feel really comfortable with the type of advice which they publish you can ask about writing a guest post. When you have discovered blogs that are possible, then develop a folder in your favorites and get into the habit of reading posts that are new as they're printed. We suggest looking to see when they sell products within their posts how frequently they publish or do they only offer a great deal of helpful info? Make a note should they use a lot of graphics and images, again, you want to maintain your post in-line with the look and feel of this blog. This will help you on when it comes time to make your own post later. Just how to Properly Contact the Blog Owner After you've studied and examined the content of the site you are going to be more confident in knowing what post or kind you want to make. Your acceptance rate is going to be higher in case you know right out of the gate that your article suits the reader of the blog in question. Just have a broad outline of the type of post or article you would like to compose including the approximate length of it. The next thing will be contacting the blog owner. This can be done on their web site via their contact form. Or by using their email address or Skype if it is published. You want to make certain that you start off by introducing yourself and that which you are doing, when linking for the first time. When you have had articles published on other websites do not forget to mention this. Plus, should you've a degree in a related area this will help 'demonstrate' your credibility to the blog owner. Any type of experience and expertise that may help set you up as an authority figure will benefit you. In your email after your introduction outline the thought you say why you believe their readers will enjoy it and have for your own article. Then mention it when they frequently post on this subject. This also reveals to them that you actually read and take part in discussions that are on-going on their site. To boost your acceptance rate, we suggest that you offer your article for this blog alone. As website owners don't need to publish the same post we really advise you to state you will not republish this article everywhere else, this helps. For the website proprietor knowing which you have taken the time to write an article just for them places you in a favorable light. A guest post will not be accepted by many blog owners unless they retain sole rights to the task. You'll Still get the credit and an author by-line, but they technically own the article. Don't suppose that you can link to other sites within your article. Consistently request the publisher should links are allowed by them and if so how many. Usually you'll find that many webmasters are happy with you leaving one link in your author bio back to your site. Again request if they enable this to determine, in regards to affiliate links. While both in the same or similar market they could be promoting the same merchandise and would rather not have you use your affiliate link. The primary target of guest blogging is to get them to opt in to your own mailing list also to drive visitors back to your website. This really is a lot better than attempting to incorporate affiliate links to generate sales. A nicely written guest blog post may bring targeted traffic for a long time to you! Send your message and wait a couple of days to determine whether they react. Someone should return to you personally within a few days if you are planning to publish in a active site then. It doesn't hurt to send another email, should you don't hear back after a few days. Should you still receive no answer then proceed to another webmaster. It can't hurt to telephone or send an instant message to them either, if you own a phone number or their Skype info. You need to make sure that they are not being hounded by you however! They could just be extremely busy and have not had time to get back to you. Remember they could be booked for months ahead of time plus that a few of the websites that are highly visited probably receive a ton of requests.
