Like, Gyda Eriksdotter was a princess who told Harald Finehair that she would not marry him until he was THE King. So he went and became King. And then Gyda was like “AIGHT” and married him. Why’d she have to go and marry someone behind his back in this incarnation of Harald’s story?

And if the writers just HAD to make her betray Harald, why be so pathetic about it? “oh jeez, yeah I sorta married someone, Harald, so sorry, pls don’t kill me pls”… Can Lagertha be the only badass blonde on the show or something?
