OH! This is actually on my list! Because they're doing an adaptation on it, and that came across my radar a little while back. But you know me and you know it checked my boxes. I might not get to it for a while (but gonna post this up for the folk who might have the time right now). https://sorcerority.com/
“Sorcerority” tells the story of a young African American girl named Melanie, who follows in the footsteps of her late mother by enrolling into a historically African American coven and university of magic. Sep 1, 2021
Thank you boo😭💙
Thank you! 💙
Is there something you always find yourself repeating in your writing? (favourite verb, something you describe ‘too often’, trope you can’t get enough of?)
Honestly, I don’t feel like a well versed enough in tropes to repeat them in the first place.
I felt like I was describing faces and skin tones a lot at one point and I tried to ease up on that a little bit. Y’all already know what these men look like, I ain’t gotta over do it.
