I love multifandom brainworms because somehow my brain has decided that hannibal nbc, 9-1-1, criminal minds, and supernatural all exist within the same universe because -- hey, will graham moved around a bunch as a kid in similar areas that the winchesters probably did as kids and we don't know almost anything about his family, why not make his father a hunter and why not let will and dean grow up adjacent to one another and be the closest either could get to childhood friends -- and hey Buck traveled around just about anywhere he could reach in that car why couldn't he discover the supernatural on accident and get picked up by the winchesters for a few weeks just because he wanted to learn as much as possible about anything they'd tell him about and maybe that's why he's so insistent on the existence of karma and curses and ghosts because he's seen it all before -- and why couldn't the bau have heard all about the winchesters but haven't quite been able to get their hands on their case themselves because viktor henricksen refused to let anyone touch it but himself, and any time there's any word of the winchesters possibly being alive Hotch is prepared to fight to get his hands on the case because goddammit, henricksen may have been odd and slightly obsessive but he was still good and he's dead because of those two brothers -- and and and
