Ok so, I've been playing this very random looking IF on itch, dating killmulator, and now the last chapter of the first season came out and I think I died. And ofc the smartest thing to do is go and state the most obvious facts on Tumblr.

hell lot of spoilers down the cut.

So rn I'm romancing Florian, the guy that looked like the most normal between the three. I kind of expected him to pull out some really bad stuff because of course, the game is about dating killers and he looked too chill, but FLORIAN MY LOVE WHAT THE HECK. My husband killed Josè??? For who don't know: Josè is the guy that tried to romance the MC in the initial chapters and was brutally rejected because he's an idiot, but in this last chapter he looked a teeny tiny bit like a better person. And Florian poisoned the pills he took for his anxiety. And anonimously bullied him online. And boycotted his own career?? I didn't get this part, to be honest.

He was a soldier in the army, amazing. He knows how to read people, we kind of expected that since he's a psychologist and that's his job. He wrote a secret santa and signed it as C? It's probably related to one of the spinoffs, but guess who has no money to spend on games and isn't willing to watch someone play them. Why killing Josè though? was it because he bothered MC??

He did hand her some drawings of her that he did on one of the last chapters (I think it happens regardless of wheter you romance him or not), and he always acted very nice to her, he doesn't make her pay for therapy sessions and I'm not going to forget the fact that our dude put a hand on MC's waist towards the end of the second chapter when he proposes to accompany her home and you gotta choose between the 3, so it might be a yandere situation. It feels way too stereotypical... Even though this game plays a lot around stereotypes. We have murderous onlyfans theatre kid, murderous chill rich boy with a deal with the devil (technically not the devil, but we'll call them that) and now murderous yandere psychologist. Even though now I'm starting to suspect Florian also has a deal with our devilish friend, since we've seen golden marks on his arm at the end of this last chapter and Cain's marks also were golden... though Cain's ones were more like a sigil, while Florian's mark looked like some animal slashes. Maybe they have a different kind of deal? (I heard Cain has to kill once every X or else the person they love the most will die, but I'm not sure if that's an actual thing or what).

Also, I'm pretty sure Ned is related to the devil guy. He's clearly got something going on with Cain, he's appeared out of nowhere and is trying to act like he's a good friend with MC, he first says he's french and everyone says nobody would have guessed he's french, but then in the truth or dare game if you ask him if he's really french he says that no, he's not french, giving it an explanation like "you come from where you feel at home", and then in the balcony he says he's from a little of everywhere, AND ALWAYS IN THE BALCONY (I might be going crazy here) I think he replies to one of MC's thoughts? I played the chapter twice and everytime that scene plays I get the doubt if MC actually spoke out loud or if she was still thinking, but I'm pretty sure she doesn't speak. So that's really sus.

And that's pretty much it I think? I gotta play the other two routes (aka I gotta make other two accounts QwQ) to get more info, especially on that stinky rat that's Cain, but for now I finished my ramble. As stated at the beginning, I'm pretty sure this is all obvious stuff, but still I wanted to write it down. That game is crazy. If you haven't played it then 1, what are you doing here getting the whole game spoilered you dummy, and 2 PLAY IT NOW.

I was messing with our good old amalgamates, and I ended up thinking a lot about Shyra/Lemon Bread.

We know Shyren is just a small fish, and that her "body" is actually just another monster that in the files is called her "Agent".

Looking at Lemon Bread though, we see that their body looks a lot like Agent- not Shyren- despite the fact that we know they are two different monsters.

There are various differences between Lemon Bread's body and Agent: instead of the eyes there are Moldbygg's parts and the mouth part now looks more like Aaron's arm.

In all the amalgamates, we can see there often is one monster that stands out and shapes out the rest of the monsters in the amalgamate (examples could be Snowdrake's mother or the big white dog in Endogeny (who is probably Muttler, the ex leader of Snowdin's canine unit (infos coming from Deltarune's graveyard))).

This might be a big stretch, but it could be that Shyren's kind of monster lives in symbiosis with Agent's kind, at least until they become confident enough to remain on their own (when Lemon Bread is with Shyren at the end of the pacifist route Agent is nowhere to be seen, same when she's performing with Mettaton in the credits).

It could be that Shyra is the main monster in control inside of Lemon Bread and she subconciously molded the other monsters in the amalgamation to look like an Agent, because she lived with another living being very close to her for a very long time. We also have to consider that when you encounter Lemon Bread, it is their "body" that reacts to the humming...

But maybe it's just that Shyra's body is shaking, and since we can't distinguish her from Lemon Bread then we say that it's Lemon Bread's body that shakes.

To explain where Shyra's Agent is, maybe she had the same as Shyren? Maybe Shyra's Agent is Shyren's agent, he simply changed monster to be paired with when Shyra became independent.
