I love how in Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas the bad guy, Eris, just plays with the main characters. Like this whole plot is just a game and if she wins great and if not okay she'll try again in a few millennia when she's bored again.

Other villains, while great, play like its a huge plot they've been planning forever and if one thing fell out of place it never would have worked. But Eris doesn't have anything on the line, she has nothing to lose. (Interesting parallel to our hero who starts with nothing to lose and ends up with everything to lose) That makes her very dangerous. She's having fun and that makes her very entertaining.

I also love how she isn't in the film much- hear me out- because she's a GODDESS! She's got stuff to do, goddess stuff. (What dose a god of discord even do?) She's only checking in on our heroes when she can, first thing in the morning, when they enter her realm and when she's taking a bath. It adds to the feel of her power and our heroes insignificance, diminishing our hope of ever defeating her. And we don't. Our heroes are safe but humanity is still perpetually getting messed with.

I wish more villains had this vibe she has, like she's only doing this to make a point and we can't let her prove it, like it's all a game to her but it's everything to us, it's the vibe I want my villains to have.

And her hair would be nice too.

She's the evil empress of the golden city of Aurous, in the sea of the golden sands. The main antagonist in my Sonic universe. She was once a friend of the king of Chillvia (Phoebe's father), but now she's not, she's an enemy and a villainess and has vowed to bring every kingdom down, especially Chillvia in order to enact revenge. You wanna know what happened? Well, for starters, Pearl was the only daughter and heir to the throne of Aurous, a desertic arabian and egypt-like place were everything seems like to be made out of gold, where her parents Bazahaard and Rumina ruled with iron fist. She was always spoiled in every possible way and was rotten to the core. But one day her kingdom was attacked and her parents in order to protect her sent her away on a boat to the land of Chillvia where she would be safe since her parents where friends with the kings of Chillvia. Once she arrived she explained the whole situation to the king and queen of then, but they said they couldn't do anything until further notice but that she could stay with them for the time being. She then started to become close friends with the prince of Chillvia, Duncan (Phoebe's father), who'm she started to grow a crush on which would later turn into an obssesive one. However, she started to become more impatient over her kingdom and her parents situation, so she devised a plan in order to get everything done and for her crush to marry her as well. First, she pretended to feel homesick in order to make the kings felt sorry for her, then she convinced them to make a great big banquet for them and to all the people of Chillvia to make her feel a little better. The kings decided to accept the idea. The banquet was proceding nicely, until... "Nooo!!!" Someone screamed, it was Duncan. "Mom, dad... Wake up!!!" The kings where lying against the table, lifeless. The whole kingdom went into panic and then a few days later there was a big funeral for both kings. Duncan was devastated over the loss of them both, while Pearl pretended to feel sorry for them and consolated Duncan. The kingdom decided into turning Duncan into a king, but they needed a queen, so Pearl decided to take the part saying that she wanted to help Duncan take care of the kingdom along with him. However,  a few servants who worked for the kings, discovered that someone had poisoned the king and queen's goblets. The only person they saw before the king and queen's death was Pearl, who wanted to offer the kings the goblets by herself, this seemed suspicious to them since Pearl never wanted to serve the others, more then herself. A few days later the kingdom was going to celebrate the wedding of both Duncan and Pearl, when suddenly one of the servants entered the room and interrumped the wedding, right before Duncan would say "I do!". The servant was care taker of the prince, who told him that Pearl was the responsible one for killing his parents. Everyone was shocked, especially Duncan who relized he was about to marry the killer of his own two parents. He demanded an explanation from Pearl, so she decided to spill the beans: She wanted to be with Duncan since she fell in love with him and also said that he said that friends do anything for each other, so she decided to be more then just friends by marrying him and become the queen along with him as the king. Pearl also said that she wanted to send a troop of soldiers to her kingdom in order to retrieve it when she would be queen, and for that she had to get rid of his parents for him to inherit the throne, marry her and then get her old kingdom back. Duncan was so mad at her for what she did, so he decided to crown himself sole king of the kingdom and throw Pearl into a far away prison where she would be for the rest of her life for her crime. And so Pearl was banished into a big prison far away from Chillvia, where she passed some years before she could escape. She found her way back to her kingdom where she saw everything was devastated, in ruins and there was not a single soul around. Everything that was left of the old golden city of Aurous had being dissapeared and instead there was only death, hopelessness and destruction. Pearl then decided to stay there, crowned herself as queen of her kingdom (or what was left of it at least) and had only one goal in mind... Get revenge on Duncan, destroy Chillvia, and to crush anyone who stands in her way. Her powers are derived from the sun and the moon and the day and the night. She also can manipulate the weather, the time (day and night) and revive the death, which requires a lot of power. She used this powers to restore some of her kingdom and make herself new servants in the form of undead people. She also has a scythe which is able to show her in its reflection what she wants to see, to see where her enemies are, what are they doing or to see the progress of her servants, she also uses it to fight. She can manipulate the weather even to a global scale to create havoc. She has two pets: An hippogryph named Amber, and an gigant Ammyt which she uses as her main executioner in order to devour useless servants or nuisances. She's pretty sadic, cruel, ruthless, vain, seductive, petty, obsessive, manipulative, callous and evil, she loves tormenting her victims and is very cold hearted. She's even cruel to her own servants, when she demands attention she uses her scythe as a way of intimidating or torture. She dosen't like when someone questions her reign and always has no qualms into seeing them executed. Her main enemies are mainly the people who oppose her, but she became enemies with Phoebe, Maria, Irving, Damien and Nova after they started to search for the chaos emerald in an attempt to stop her, so she started to make allies with some people in order to stop them. She also hates Sonic and his friends and has no qualms into having them killed, as long as the price they bring are the chaos emeralds to her which she would use in order to gain more power, get her kingdom restored to its former glory, and of course, reign over mobius with an iron fist.
