Team Skull!Hau for specord’s villainspe event! Backstory is below the cut.

Really, Hau never minded the Tapu Cocoa—but Guzma's comments had more meaning below the surface. It was maybe the first time Hau had given it some thought from that angle, having grown up in his grandfather's shadow, aiming to beat him and become Kahuna himself someday. Maybe they weren't just "bad" people. Maybe they didn't align with the system and wanted to live freely. Maybe he had just been indoctrinated all his life and the traditions weren't all that great... so Hau took Guzma up on his offer. 

That was where it began.

It didn't take long for Hau to see there was no real organization or purpose to Team Skull. Well, he should have expected as much, considering the no-rules lifestyle most of the gang led. But that wasn't enough for him. Didn't he join Team Skull because the tradtions were bad? Sure, they could live like this, but being treated as criminals, were they truly free?

Wouldn't it be better if the traditions and customs just...went away? 

Maybe that way, these people would be able to eat malasadas and do as they pleased, and not be looked down upon as the scum of the Earth... "They are just people, like the rest of us; it's not fair." 

So Hau takes it upon himself to dismantle these traditions. Is he still part of Team Skull? Perhaps. But it would seem he has his own agenda now, one to "free" the islands—by force, if necessary. Ridding the islands of the guardians seems like a good start...

King in the Lake, Sun!

A brief Description: After learning that foreign companies took property over his grandfather's territory and destroyed it with their experiments, Sun journeyed to Alola to reclaim his birthright. With the help of outside sources, he utilized the Z crystals and kicked out anyone and everyone who survived the experiments. Alola is now ruled by the King in the Lake, possessively, madly,and lonely. Sun sells his Z Crystals to the highest bidder to restore sacred lands, but keeps the big Crystal for himself. The Big Crystal that he stumbled upon when he arrived, the big crystal that speaks to him and keeps him sane. He is never without it.

Outsiders that try to impeach him of his post will suffer from the rage of the Guardians of the Islands, the Light and the King in the Lake. Alola is his and his alone.

Details that some missed:

Sun is eating the Mirage Fruit usually given to the Alolan Dieties. His outfit is both inspired from the Tapus (Main tapu Bulu) and Solgaleo.

He is a wild King so his crown is a Lei. The flowers are: Petunias, Chrysanthemums, Tansy, Coral Roses, Buttercups and Narcisus.

He has lived alone for atleast 2 years, so his clothes are all ripped and his hair is untamed.

Sun took over Alola(or whats left of it) with the help of the New Order.

I based off his color scheme from a flame (Blue to pink to coral to orange to yellow to red to white)

He resides in the Lake of Sunne.

Don't touch his Big Crystal.

Sun is a Pawn of the New Order.
