"The winner takes it all" Excepts its just the Robins who made it out, the ones who got to leave.
It's not even just that, its the heroes, the vigilantes, the villains, the people who put on some sort of mask be it physical or mental that made a difference. People who acted good or bad or something in between.
It's those people who got to leave, because in the end they were the real winners, the people who made it out, the people who did just a bit better. Because the loser(s) will always be the people still doing the same game, the same run around, the same playthrough of cat and mouse and the mouse they've been chasing this whole time has just been release.
How that release goes might not be a sure thing, will they die? Finally be free of this burden and this life? Will they be injured? So rocked up that they can never go back again? Or will they just leave? Finally see themselves and see the scares and feel the ache and decide enough is enough for once?
