Headcanon: Because Bruce often refers to himself in the third person, he has sort of accidentally ingrained a similar habit in his kids. While they mostly stick with "B" when referring to him out loud (except for Damian, of course), in their heads they think if him as Batman and Bruce as if they are two separate people. "Bruce is picking me up from school today." "I'm patrolling with Batman tonight." Usually "Batman" is the disciplinarian, and "Bruce" is the affectionate dad. This is especially the case for Jason, who still feels a twinge of hatred toward Batman, but genuinely loves his dad, Bruce. Dick is the only one who doesn't think this way, having fully designated both as "B" in his head. Though he knows the rest of his family does, and so will use the distinction in speech if he needs to give B or one of his siblings a pep-talk.
