one week after my "redwall villains as good guys" polls

WE HAVE A COUPLE OF WINNERS!

Our winners are THE MARLFOXES

Coming in second place is Gruven Zann

And in third place we have Slagar the Cruel

Honorable mentions go to Vilaya the Sable Quean and Gulo the Savage

And a big fat goose egg for Cluny, Ublaz, Vizka Longtooth, and Razzid Wearat.

The latter two I get because they're newer villains (and I've heard that their books aren't the strongest in the series).

Cluny I get because he's allergic to all things good and wholesome.

But I'm surprised that our good pal Ublaz didn't get a single vote! Clearly the hypnotic gaze didn't sway anyone to his side. Oh well...

If you wanna know who I would have voted for, since I didn't vote so I could be surprised by the results, my choice would have been Slagar: The guy cured his own venomous snake bite with nothing but herbs and folk medicine, so it would have been interesting to see him played as a doctor instead of a child-enslaving revenge-loving lunatic.

I wanna thank everybody who participated in the poll, I had a lot of fun wondering who would win and imagining what it would look like to see these dastardly critters rewritten as good guys.

Not like the end of the book sorry, the ending for Vilu Daskar is quite literally keeping me up at night rn. Like ik Luke was not the BEST father but thanks for one of the coolest fucking villain deaths ever
