The elevator lurches hard enough that you nearly lose your footing.
You’re mid-sentence—something about travel schedules and a last-minute media request—when the floor jolts beneath you. The lights flicker, and your heel slips against the polished surface. Before you can fully tip forward, a solid arm wraps around your waist, steady and strong.
“Easy,” Vince says quietly.
Your hands land against his chest to catch yourself. Warm. Solid. You’re acutely aware of the way his jacket stretches over muscle, the way his fingers span almost entirely across your side.
Then the elevator goes still. Too still.
You both look toward the doors. But they don’t open. There’s a mechanical groan from somewhere above, and the overhead lights dim to a low, humming glow. The silence that follows feels louder than the jolt did.
“You’ve got to be kidding me,” you breathe.
Vince leans past you and presses the button for the lobby again. Nothing. He presses it harder, like that might intimidate the system into working. Still nothing.
“Seriously?” he mutters.
You’re hyperaware now—of the confined space, of how close he’s standing, of the faint scent of clean laundry and something woodsy clinging to him. The team hotel elevator was not built for this kind of tension.
He hits the emergency button. After a few seconds, a distant voice answers, calm and detached, informing you that maintenance is on the way.
“How long?” you ask.
“Hard to say,” the voice replies. “Shouldn’t be too long.”
Shouldn’t. The line clicks off.
You blow out a breath and lean back against the wall. “This is so on brand for my week.”
He glances at you, brow lifting slightly. “Yeah?”
“I handle every crisis for this team,” you say dryly. “Flight delays. Equipment mix-ups. Media chaos. And now I’m stuck in an elevator. With a defenseman.”
He snorts softly. “Wow. You make it sound like I’m the worst part of this.”
You glance at him. “I didn’t say that.” But you don’t elaborate.
Working for the team means you’re used to keeping a professional distance. You coordinate schedules, handle communications, smooth over issues before they become headlines. You do not develop feelings for players. Especially not players who look at you the way Vince does when he thinks you’re not paying attention.
The elevator feels smaller by the second. He shifts slightly, and your shoulders brush. Neither of you move away.
“Guess we sit?” he suggests.
You nod and slide down the wall to the floor, grateful for something to do. He follows, long legs stretching out in front of him. His knee ends up pressed against yours. It would be so easy to shift an inch to the side. You don’t.
The silence settles between you. Not awkward, exactly. Just charged.
You’re acutely aware of your perfume—something light and subtle you’d spritzed on that morning without thinking. You’re aware of how close he is, how the warmth of his body radiates in the small space.
He inhales slightly. You notice.
He hesitates, jaw tightening like he’s debating something. And then, softly—
“This might be a bad time to mention it, but i really like your perfume.”
For a second, you think you misheard him.
“My what?”
He huffs a quiet laugh, rubbing the back of his neck. The movement pulls his sleeve up slightly, revealing the strong line of his forearm. “Your perfume,” he repeats, a little sheepish now. “I noticed it earlier. In the hallway. And now we’re stuck in here and it’s kinda impossible not to notice.”
Heat floods your face.
“You’re unbelievable,” you murmur, staring straight ahead at the elevator doors. “We’re trapped between floors.”
“I know.”
“And that’s what you choose to say?”
He shrugs lightly, though there’s tension in his shoulders. “Didn’t exactly plan it.”
You risk a glance at him.
He’s not smirking. Not teasing. He looks almost… nervous.
“It smells really good,” he adds quietly. “On you.”
Your heart stutters.
This is dangerous territory. You work for the team. You know the policies. You know the unspoken rules. You know how complicated this could get.
“You’re making this weird,” you say, though your voice lacks conviction.
“I think it was already weird,” he replies gently.
You swallow.
He shifts slightly, turning toward you more fully. His knee presses more firmly against yours now, deliberate. His shoulder brushes yours again.
“You make it hard,” he says after a moment.
“To do my job?” you ask, trying for lightness.
He shakes his head faintly. “To pretend I don’t feel anything.”
The air leaves your lungs.
“Vince…”
“I know,” he says quickly. “You work for us. I get it. I’m not trying to make this complicated.” His voice lowers. “But I notice you. All the time. The way you run around fixing everything. The way you bite your lip when you’re stressed. The way you smell when you walk past me.”
Your pulse is racing now.
“You shouldn’t be noticing that,” you whisper.
“Probably not.”
The elevator hums softly, suspended in place. The world feels narrowed to this small metal box and the inches between you.
His hand shifts on the floor, brushing against yours. He stills, giving you the chance to pull away. You don’t. Your fingers remain there, barely touching. His thumb moves slightly, testing, then gently threads between your fingers. The contact is electric.
“We can pretend this never happened when those doors open,” he says quietly. “If that’s what you want.”
The thought makes your chest ache unexpectedly.
“And if it’s not?” you ask.
His eyes meet yours, steady and searching. “Then we figure it out.”
Your heart pounds so loudly you’re sure he can hear it. You should pull away. You should remind him of the rules, of the risks. Instead, you squeeze his hand.
The elevator jolts suddenly, making you both tense. The lights brighten as the mechanism whirs back to life. The car begins to move again, slow and steady.
You don’t let go.
The doors slide open to the lobby, bright and normal and full of the world you’re supposed to exist in—professional, composed, careful.
For a split second, neither of you move. Then Vince stands, still holding your hand, and gently pulls you up with him. As you step out of the elevator together, his fingers brush yours one last time before releasing—subtle, fleeting, like a secret. But the look he gives you isn’t fleeting at all.

(DEAD PLATE X READER)
With his left hand, Rody puts pressure on where his left ear had been before Vincent had ripped it off and eaten it. He pants softly, unable to tear his gaze away from the flames that engulf the bistro.
Rody is able to break contact when he sees a shoe in the corner of his right eye. Rody’s body tenses as he looks over at the shoe, allowing his gaze to slowly move up to take in the owner of the shoe. Black leather shoes that shine bright from the fire’s light, black slacks and a white long sleeve button up underneath a black vest adorned with a black tie. Rody’s eyes widen at the face.
The persons expression is full of worry, the figure holds their hands out as if wanting to comfort Rody but feeling as if they shouldn’t overstep boundaries in such a clearly traumatic time. the figure’s mouth opens, mouthing some illegible words. Rody hasn’t realized that all this time his ears had been ringing, his brain already trying to force this moment into the back of his head.
Rody’s eyes fill up with tears and he sniffles. The ringing slowly fades out as the voice slowly registers. “Rody! Hey, are you alright? Hey, deep breathes, you don’t have to tell me what happened, let’s- here, can i lead you to my car…?” Rody feels tears flow down his cheek and drip off his chin and Rody feels like he’s breaking as he wetly smiles. “…(M/n)…”
The man, finally known as (M/n), looks relieved as Rody seems to snap out of his previous delirious state. “Rody… Hey… Let’s step away and go to my car, yeah?” Rody nods but takes one step and falls forward. (M/n) panics, stepping a few paces forwards to catch Rody.
Rody’s eyes close and he whines, letting his tears fall and openly sob as he mourns. Mourning over the truth he has learned, that his girlfriend was killed and cooked up by his boss, being served to Rody though, due to his inability to cook, he had not eaten the dish, which Rody is now thankful for. Rody finds himself surprisingly mourning over Vincent too, just wishing to make some money to whoo Manon and wanting to try to become closer to Vince, maybe even become friends. It’s too late, what’s done is done.
(M/n) sighs softly, his expression softening as he holds Rody close. He allows Rody to get all of his feelings out, hoping his friend will be able to feel better. “Rody… I don’t know what happened and you don’t need to tell me until you’re ready, but… Please … I want you to know that i’ll be here with you, for you… All the way...”
Rody’s body continues to heave from the force of his sobs but ultimately seems to be calming down. Rody is reduced to sniffles and he clears his throat to speak. “All the way…? You promise…?” (M/n) hums, rubbing Rody’s back soothingly. “All the way. I promise.”
Rody nods, feeling content before pulling away with a sheepish look, as his stomach growl. He scratches the back of his neck nervously but (M/n) breaks into laughter, causing Rody to follow suit. “(M/n)… Could we get something to eat…?” (M/n) nods, able to pull both of them up and lead Rody to his car. “Of course, my treat.”

Summary: Vince finally addresses the extreme romantic and sexual tension between the two of you. 🫶
It’s been a couple years now working at the Zooniverse, it’s been great for the most part. The pay was nice, the people were nicer, and working with all the animals up close was an amazing experience. You also liked to think you got along with everyone pretty well, but you got along the best with your closest mates Vince and Howard. But when rumors about the zoo closing started to spread, you and more importantly your close friends started to worry about what would happen next. It was a chilled morning when Vince asked to speak with you.
“Hey, (Y/N), let’s have a walk, yeah?” You nod responding, “Sure, but what did you want to talk about?” Vince delicately drapes an arm around your shoulder, as sly as he ever was “Well, if the Zooniverse does end up closing, I feel there are some skeletons I should shake out of the closet, right?” Nodding in agreement, “Yeah, I guess so” he tilts his head over to get a better look of you “Right, well first I think we need to discuss this.” He makes a hang gesture between you and him “This?” You question, “What’s ‘this’?” He scoffs “What do you mean ‘what’s this?’ The sexual tension between us, you know, the spark.” You shake your head “Vince- there is no sexual tension.” He puts his other hand on his hip “Oh yes there is, and it’s strong. You feel it too, I know you do.” You walk with him, befuddled, you always knew it was there, hell even
Fossil knew there was sexual tension between you and Vince and he can’t even spell his own name out. You just assumed that you both knew it was there and both chose to ignore it. But now that the tension problem is staring you in the eye you freeze up. “I uh-“ “See! You do know we have a sexual tension! It’s there, and it’s powerful babe… just what are we gonna do about it though?” He thinks for a second, his mind going to obviously vile places “I don’t know… what do two best friends do what there’s an obvious tension?” Vince leans in and whispers in your ear something that can’t be repeated out loud.
You slap his arm in return, still respecting his stunning ‘no-face’ rule. “Ow, okay, well… the only other thing we could possibly do is maybe… start a relationship?” You stare at him in disbelief “a relationship?” He nods “I thought you were like a ‘new partner every week’ kinda guy, this isn’t like you Vince” he rolls his eyes “Look, I’m an exclusive piece… but, I only was really like that because to me, you’re the only person who can keep up with my fast pace in fashion. And you’re pretty attractive there too, I like that a lot, you’re always very bold.” Vince gently takes your hand and bends down on one knee “Come on, please just trust me when I say that I truly do love you. And no matter what happens to the Zooniverse, I wanna make sure that whatever we do forever, we do it together.” You gently press the tips of your fingers to your mouth, shocked by how genuine Vince was being. “Vince I don’t know what to say…” he looks up at you, pleading “Say that you’ll love me too…” you nod and he smiles brightly up at you quickly moving to his feet, instantly trapping you in a tight embrace.
You return the embrace before he whispers into your ear “I still feel the tensionnnnn” you roll your eyes before looking at him once more “I love you too Vince” he smiles before leaning in and locking his lips with yours, slowly yet passionately kissing you. His hands gently snake around your waist as he begins to pepper your face with small pecks. Your giggles amuse him, as they always have, he pulls away smiling brightly. “Glad to know I’ll be able to see you like this every day, for as long as I’m around” you hug him tightly and he chuckles in response patting your back, letting the sexual tension melt away, and the warm embrace take over.
(A/N): this is just a silly little blurb with Vince, I hope you liked it! 🤭🩷
Cool ! 😂😂 ok so this is the plot I hope you'll like it
You're Vince's girlfriend and you go with him on tour and Guns N Roses are the first part of their show. On the tour, Axl and you became closer which actually turned Vince jealous. Axl and him fought on the tour because of you and once you and Vince came home, you fight and try desperately to explain that you're in love with him and not with Axl. He gets jealous and says how much he loves you and will die if you love someone else. You kiss him and show him how much you love him

You smile as you watch your boyfriend run and jump all over the stage. He’s certainly got a lot of energy tonight. You hold your breath as Vince seems to almost trip over a chord for one of the amps, but he plays it off cool. You giggle to yourself. You’ve been with Vince for about a year now. You two are still inseparable.
“Hey (Y/N)!” You hear a cheery voice yell. You turn to the backstage area to see Steven, the drummer of Guns N’ Roses, sitting on one of the couches. “Come and join the fun! He’ll be off in a bit!”
You’re hesitant to leave your place. You know that Vince will have a cow if he can’t see you from the stage. He’s very protective and freaks when you leave his sight for even a moment. Once you went to the bathroom without telling him and he was screaming and yelling at everyone. It’s like he thought you were kidnapped or something. You decide to go join Guns, mostly because you’ve seen Mötley Crüe perform the same set so many times. You needed a change of pace. You walk over to the nearest couch, sitting down with a smile on your face. It just so happened that you sat next to Axl Rose.
Vince definitely was going to have hissy fit now. You and Axl grew rather close over the few months they’ve been on tour with the Crüe. You got tired of being by yourself when Vince would run off to party with Tommy and Nikki, so you made friends with Guns. They were rather quiet with it being their first tour and all. You don’t think they know how to act. Instead of going off to the nearest strip club or party, they stayed at the hotel in their little group. You and Axl just immediately clicked. Vince wasn’t happy about that. One day, Axl just said ‘Hi’ to you and Vince about beat him to a pulp!
You love Vince with all your heart, but his jealousy is getting out of hand.
“Hey, darlin’,” Axl greets you happily.
You smile at him. “Hey, Ax.” You look around to see what the other boys are doing. Your smile fades as a look of disgust covers your face. Steven, Duff, Slash, and Izzy are all snorting blow without any thought. Lots of it too. “Ugh,” You groan. You’d seen enough of this with the Crüe and it hurt to see your new friends to be doing it as well. Your eyes land back on Axl who’s smirking at you.
“You don’t like drugs, do you?” Axl asks, taking a drag from his cigarette.
You shake your head, “Not at all. I hate it. It hurts me to see you guys kill yourselves on purpose.”
“That’s an interesting way to put it,” Axl says thoughtfully. “It must be the ‘rockstar’ way.”
You shrug, frowning. “I guess, but I hate it. Once I tried to get Vince to get clean and he hated me for a good month.”
“How could he hate someone as beautiful as you?”
You blush, looking down at your lap. It’s no secret that Axl is very attractive. What with his sexy singing voice, gorgeous red hair, and pretty green eyes, how could a girl ever refuse him? The only downside to him is his temper.
You’d date him in another world. But in this one, Vince held your heart.
In a lot of ways, him and Vince are a lot alike. They both have tempers, really pretty hair and eyes, and are both the lead singers of their bands.
But you love Vince. You have since you met him three years ago.
“I think he was just really mad,” You respond, tucking a piece of hair behind your ear. “He got over it and was wanting to be around me again.”
“You know,” Axl says, leaning in really close. “If you were with me you wouldn’t have to worry about that.”
You smile kindly at him. “I love Vince. Nothing will change that. Axl, you’re a great guy and everything but-.”
Within a second, Axl is no longer beside me on the couch. I look behind me to see Vince beating the shit out of him.
I try to go and pull Vince off of Axl, but a pair of strong arms hold me back. I look to see Nikki who has a smile on his face. No doubt he’s enjoying the fight. It’s been a while since there’s been drama on tour. And tonight’s the last night of the entire tour.
“Nikki, please let me go!” You scream over the other yelling going on. “Goddammit, let me go!”
“I’m sorry sweetheart,” Nikki says into my ear. “But, Vince told me to never let you get in the middle of one of his fights.”
You watch in horror as Axl finally gains the upper ground. Axl punches Vince multiple times and you pray to whoever is above that you don’t hear a crunch. Vince would be even more pissed if Axl broke his nose. Vince manages to get back on top, punching Axl in the jaw multiple times. Finally Tommy and Mick are able to get a good hold on Vince. They pull him off of a beaten down Axl Rose. Vince doesn’t seem to have many injuries. Only a busted lip and black eye.
“Alright,” Doc says, not looking surprised at what just took place. “I think it’s time for all of us to head home.”
Everyone nods in agreement. Thank God you’re already in Los Angeles. A plane ride home with a pissed Vince would be agonizing. A drive home is torture enough.
You collect Vince and go outside to hail a taxi. The way home was agonizingly silent. The cab driver kept trying to make conversation, but Vince would snap at him. He seemed like a decent enough guy. We arrive home, neither you speaking a word as Vince unlocked the house to let you both inside.
You go up and take a shower, deciding that Vince just wanted some time alone. You can’t believe that Vince lost his shit like he did. Well, actually, never mind that thought. You can completely believe that he lost his shit. You hope that Axl was okay. Vince got multiple good hits on him.
Once you finish your shower and got dressed, you head down to the living room. You find Vince sitting on the couch with only the lamp on. Normally, he’d already have the television on. You sit down next to him, not sure what to say.
“Why the fuck would you even talk to him!” Vince snaps, his gaze on you.
You hate how much anger is in his eyes. You really didn’t mean any harm. You just wanted friends. “Because he’s my friend,” You answer quietly.
“He only wants to get into your fucking pants! God, you can be so fucking stupid sometimes. I bet you’ve already had sex with him, haven’t you!” Vince yells.
You flinch. “No. Why would you think that?”
“Well you two are just so fucking close! I wouldn’t be surprised!”
You sigh. “I just wanted people to hang out with while you were out doing God knows what with Nikki and Tommy.”
“Then you should’ve fucking went to Mick!”
“He was with Emi.”
“So? You could’ve kicked that bitch out! No one gives a shit about her!”
You frown. “If that’s how you talk about women, I’d hate to hear what you say about me.”
“What the fuck is that supposed to mean?”
You glare at him. “You obviously hate me at this point, Vince! Ever since I tried to help you get clean, you’ve hated me! I’ve done everything I fucking could to make you happy and yet you still pull this shit with me! Why don’t you just ask me to fucking leave already? That’s obviously what you want!”
Vince is speechless, his eyes wide. After a few moments, he recovers. “I don’t want you to leave.”
“Then why do you treat me like you do? You act like an overprotective boyfriend in front of everyone, but as soon as we’re alone you blame it all on me,” You say. You feel a few tears fall down your cheeks.
“Oh, babygirl,” Vince says, scooting over to where you are. He envelopes you in a hug. You cry into his chest, feeling helpless. “I don’t want you to leave. I’d be lost without you. I’ve just been on edge lately. I promise I’ll be better, okay?” He pulls back to look into your eyes. He wipes some tears off of your cheeks. He smiles gently. “I love you.”
You smile, the tears still falling. “I love you too,” You choke out.
“You better,” He winks. That’s the Vince you know and love. “Now, come on. I’m ready to sleep for three days.”
Summary: Your brother finds you in a compromising position with one of his bandmates
A/N: Hi friends! I know I’ve been gone forever but I’m back now ( at least for a bit) Please take this Tommy imagine as a peace offering lol. Buckle up babes it’s a long one...
Warning: It gets a tad steamy
Based loosely on this song
Well the times are gettin' hard for you little girl
I'm a hummin' and a strummin' all over God's world
You can't remember when you had your last meal
And you don't know just how a woman feels
You didn't know what rock and roll was
Until you met my drummer on the Grey tour bus
I got there in the nick of time
Before he got his hands across your state line, yeah
You’d been wandering around the venue looking for your brother for the past fifteen minutes. He’d handed you a flier that morning with an emotionless expression and a slight nod. If you didn’t know him so well, you’d think that the action was a joke and not a silent plea for you to come see him play. You’d been to a few of his gigs before but this was the first with the new band. The bar wasn’t terribly crowded yet, just a few people milling about. The windows were grimy and every once in a while you’d wince at the sunlight that came through the door whenever someone new arrived. Waitresses placed coasters on the high-top tables and the bartender busied himself lining up the various glasses and bottles behind the bar. A few early-bird patrons sat at the barstools and talked in hushed tones.
“You don’t seem like the type that would come to see a band in a dingy bar. You work here?”
A voice behind you made you whip around, bringing you face-to-face, well more like face-to-chest, with a freakishly tall frame. As you tilted your gaze upward, you met the smirk of a long-haired, lanky guy. You couldn’t help but look him up and down as he shifted his weight from one foot to the other, fiddling with the zipper on his leather jacket.
You felt your cheeks heat as you met his eyes. Damn, if this was the kind of guy that came to see bands in dingy bars, you’d have to come more often. You shook yourself from your momentary daze.
“That so?” You crossed your arms in mock offense, a smirk of your own playing on your lips “ I’m looking for my brother. He’s working tonight.” You nodded out into the large area where the stage was. The attractive stranger gave you a dazzling smile, leaning his elbow on the high-top table closest to him and nearly tumbling to the floor when his arm missed the edge of the table by a good few inches. He recovered quickly, running a hand through his long locks and trying to regain the suave demeanor he had previously possessed. You couldn’t help but let out a laugh.
“I love a good laugh, You have a great laugh. I’m Tommy.” The words rushed out of him all at once and you could practically see him mentally kicking himself for going all gaga on you. You laughed again, sticking out your hand.
“I’m Y/N. Are you always this clumsy?” He scoffed, leaning toward you slightly as his eyes narrowed slightly and a devious smirk played on his lips.
“Only around beautiful girls,” he said, that panty-dropping smile once again finding its way to his face.
You weren’t sure how long it had been before you found yourself pressed against the peeling paint of the bar’s bathroom stall as Tommy’s tongue worked its way across your collarbone.
“Tommy, are you sure th-oh God,” His teeth had gently grazed your skin and you could feel his thumbs rubbing little circles into your hips.
“What was that?” you could practically feel him smirking into the skin of your chest. He lifted your left thigh over his hip, spinning the two of you so you were pressed between his hips and the cold porcelain of the sink.
“Ow! Jesus! What is that?!” The movement left you with something jabbed into your ribs.
“Shit, sorry.” Tommy mumbled, tossing the drumsticks in the waistband of his pants to the other side of the bathroom before connecting your lips once again.
Drumsticks? Who carries around a pair of drumsticks tucked into their pants?
One hand had tangled in your hair and he had just unbuckled your belt with the other when the bathroom door banged open, slamming against the wall and rattling the mirror your back was now pressed against.
“Yo, Tommy, when you’re done with your lady friend here, we need you for sound che- Y/N?!” Nikki’s face went from shock to absolute amusement in a matter of seconds. “Oh shit, this is gonna be good!” He said gleefully as he ran off in the opposite direction, the heavy door swinging shut behind him.
Tommy pulled away from you slightly. When had he undone his pants?
“You know Nikki?” he asked, utterly confused. You stared at the doorway that had been previously occupied by none other than Nikki Sixx.
“Yeah. I only met him once. He’s in my brother’s band.” Tommy’s face went white as a sheet.
“Wait, what?”
“I’m going to give you two seconds to get your hands off my sister, drummer.” Your brother, Mick stood in the doorway, a can of hairspray and a lighter clutched in his hands and, knowing him, he was fully prepared to use them.
“Jesus Chri- look, man, I swear to God I didn’t know!” Tommy stumbles away from you, nearly tripping over the skinny jeans that had now bunched at his knees.
“Mick, What the hell?!” You hopped off the sink, straightening your shirt.
“Y/N. I see you’ve met our drummer.” his monotone voice doing nothing to hide the obvious hatred he was feeling for Tommy right now.
“Your what?!” Your eyes darted back and forth between the man whose hands had been all over your body just seconds before and your brother who looked fully intent on murdering him.
“Drummer, as in the guy in the band who plays the drums.” Nikki giggled from behind your brother, obviously enjoying the exchange. “Told you this was gonna be good!” he nodded toward Tommy, laughing again and going off in search of a beer.
I know the ending sucked but I didn’t want to make it too long lol. Part 2 anyone?
Requested: Yes by @antheasnow this has been such a long story for this request, and that’s totally not a bad thing! It’s an amazing idea, the only way I can hope to give the request justice is by putting it into multiple parts.
Title: Shy Games
Summary: (Y/N) is growing frustrated waiting for Vince to finally share his feelings. Worried she might come off too easy, she’s playing hard to get. She knows he likes her, she just needs him to admit it. But what will happen after a show when drinks and girls get involved?
Warnings: Possibly Language
---------
A few weeks after Vince’s audition and him joining the band, they had their first ever show. (Y/N) was excited to say the least. Great music, drinks, and getting to stare at Vince and get away with it? What more could she want? She quickly looked at the time and gasped jumping up from her seat in front of the mirror.
“It’s time for you guys to go on! Hurry up- Nikki, will you please move faster?” (Y/N) shoved Nikki, who thought it would be funny to walk as slow as possible, digging her hands into his back. She huffed and walked around him. She didn’t know why she was so nervous, she wasn’t the one performing. Maybe it’s because she wanted them to succeed? She knew how bad they wanted this.
(Y/N) stood at the side of the stage the whole show with her eyes on one person, and one person only. Vince. They way he moved on stage, the way his voice rang through small club. She was just as in love as the first time she saw him perform. The only problem was when the show ended, there were girls, girls, and more girls. And they would not leave him alone.
As she made her way through the club she noticed that all of the guys were being swarmed by girls. She rolled her eyes and walked to the bar taking notice of the short dressed and tall heels that the girls were wearing. How practical is that in a club? She looked down at her combat boots and black leather pants. Maybe she should’ve dressed up more? Maybe then she would’ve caught Vince’s attention, if only she knew she already had.
-------
Vince watched (Y/N) walking through the club. He wanted to go talk to her, but why waste his time? She didn’t want him and there were plenty of girls here who did. He looked over at a girl who was wrapping her arms around his shoulders, smiling he placed his arm around her waist. (Y/N) couldn’t help but stare.
“What are you staring at?” Mick asked (Y/N), knowing full well that she was watching Vince like a hawk.
“Nothing.” (Y/N) stated and turned around facing the bar.
“Bullshit. You and I both know about your feelings for him, and you’re not doing yourselves any favors by ignoring each other. Just go tell him.” He told her. There’s no way it could be that simple. With all these people around? Or what if he laughs in her face?
(Y/N) turned around looking over at Vince once more and saw him getting cozy with one of the random girls. That was all (Y/N) needed to see. If he was gonna flirt around, then so could she. After all, they weren’t dating, they weren’t even talking. So what’s the harm?
-------
I’m thinking Part 4 might be the last part! We will see what happens next! I’m sorry if this is really short, but it’s late and I feel like I’ve left everyone waiting for too long for an update. I didn’t proof read or edit much, I’m sorry for any mistakes. I’ll go through and edit some more tomorrow. I’m sorry!

“Babe, come on, I need your help getting more booze,” Vince laughed, pulling (Y/n) to her feet.
“I thought Razzle was going with you,” (Y/n) laughed. They both had been drinking for the night, just (Y/n) had mainly stuck to small glasses of wine, and not many at that. Vince seemed to love his beer and whiskey, and every time (Y/n) had looked up at him, he had had a glass in his hand that night.
“He found himself a cute girl. Come on (Y/n), please.” Vince pouted and gave her to biggest eyes he could. She sighed and pushed herself to her feet.
“Okay, okay,” (Y/n) smiled at Vince and kissed him gently.
“Ewwww!” Tommy teased. “You two are so nasty!”
“It’s our house dumbass,” Vince shook his head. The realization hit (Y/n).
“That’s right. Shouldn’t one of us stay here and keep Tommy from blowing up the house?” (Y/n) told Vince. Vince looked around and spied his guitarist laying like a vampire on the couch; arms crossed over his chest and looking like the undead.
“Mick!” Vince called out. Mick opened one eye to look at the singer. “Keep Tommy from blowing shit up!”
“Got it,” Mick grumbled. “Fucking teenagers.” He closed his eyes again and sat up with his arms still crossed over his chest. (Y/n) giggled and leaned against Vince. He wrapped an arm around her waist and led her out to his car.
“You know I love you right,” Vince told her as they made their way to the car. (Y/n) smiled happily. The band's music was insanely popular, their two albums selling out and enjoyed by the masses; the boys were finding love, making money, and having the fun they were denied as kids; and her and Vince were starting to settle down. He had asked her to marry him months before they moved into the house.
And they were expecting their first child. (Y/n) had just found out that morning and Vince had been busy planning the party and getting ready. She hadn’t had time to tell him yet. But she thought maybe the drive would be good.
“I love you too Vince,” She answered softly. He opened her door for her before getting in on his side and peeled out of the driveway, taking the curves at high speeds as they made their way to the liquor store just a few blocks away. Vince ran in while (Y/n) stayed in the car, looking up at the moon. She missed seeing the stars, but she had lived in LA since she was 13 and the only stars they had lived in billion dollar houses in the hills. At the rate Vince was going, she thought they’d be in those houses soon. But she really wanted to move away from LA, to someplace in the country where you could see the stars at night and everything was quiet. She put a hand on her belly and smiled softly.
“I got some good stuff!” Vince called out, holding up his bags to show (Y/n). “Everyone’s gonna love it.”
“It’s free booze. Of course they’ll love it,” (Y/n) laughed. Vince threw the bags into the back and kissed her before heading back towards the house. He decided to take the scenic route back home. It was a wonderful night. It wasn’t too hot or too cold. There was no rain or even cloud cover.
“Hey Vince,” (Y/n) said a bit into the trip. “I’ve got something to tell you.”
“Oh, hey, it’s our song!” Vince said, looking down at the radio to turn it up. (Y/n) smiled and shook her head until she looked up.
“VINCE LOOK OUT!” She screamed. Vince looked up at the headlights coming right at them. He looked up at the road and overcorrected, slamming into another car at high speed. (Y/n) had been wearing a seatbelt, but the impact caused her arm to smack the button and she bounced around the car, an arm thrown over her stomach in an ill attempt to protect everything.
The car came to a rest, Vince’s head resting on the steering wheel and (y/n) slumped forward in her seat. Vince started to come to, hearing the sound of a horn. Who was honking at him? He wasn’t even doing anything. He slowly sat back in his seat and the horn didn’t stop. But dizziness overtook him and he wanted to puke. He managed to turn his head over to where (Y/n) was resting.
“Babe,” Vince said before a cough tore through his lungs. “(Y/n) you okay?” She didn’t answer him. He reached over and took her hand as the sirens started to be heard. “(Y/n) wake up. We’ve got a trip to Mexico coming up. And you were going to tell me something. What were you going to tell me?” She still didn’t answer. “Baby?” A light shone in the car then.
“Son, can you hear me?” A cop said.
“My fiancée isn’t waking up!” Vince cried. “Please help her!”

“It shouldn’t take this long to get booze,” Tommy groaned. “And (Y/n) doesn’t like to leave the house unattended with people in it. Said it makes her a bad hostess or something.” There was a lull in the music and the sound of sirens speeding past the house could be heard. Tommy looked over at Mick. Sirens weren’t that uncommon, but when the lead singer and his fiancée had yet to return from a beer run, it made everyone a little nervous.
“I’ll be back,” Tommy told Mick before he got up and headed to the door.
“Where are you going?” Mick asked.
“I just wanna see what’s going on,” Tommy explained as he heard another round of sirens. He quickly left the house and got on his motorcycle, heading towards where he heard the sirens going. Once he came to the scene, he saw tons of flashing lights, and he saw a familiar blonde sitting on the curb with his hands cuffed behind him.
He looked towards the other car and saw a man and woman being helped. He looked to one of the ambulances and he saw (Y/n) laying on it, beat to hell, eyes closed, and someone doing CPR on her. Tommy leaned over and puked into the grass then. He finally got off his bike and headed towards Vince, it finally starting to register that he was handcuffed.
“Vince?” Tommy called out. “What’s going on?” Vince looked up at Tommy, his eyes puffy and red from crying.
“T-Tommy…” Vince whispered. A cop stopped Tommy in his tracks.
“Sorry, you can’t come any closer,” The cop told him.
“That’s my bandmate over there and one of my best friends in the ambulance!” Tommy yelled.
“Sir, you have to calm down or you’ll be joining your bandmate in the back of the police car.” The cop growled. Tommy watched then as Vince was hauled to his feet and thrown into the back of a cop car.
“Can you at least tell me what hospital (Y/n) is going to?” Tommy asked. The cop looked down at his notes.
“Cedar-Sinai,” The cop told him. Tommy nodded and headed back to his bike as the ambulance took off and Vince sat in the back of the cop car, watching helplessly.

Tommy walked back into Vince’s house, hearing the party still going on. He made his way to the stereo system that Vince and (Y/n) had set up and killed the music, causing everyone to look at him. Mick sat on the edge of his seat.
“Everybody get the fuck out!” Tommy yelled. “Now! Get the fuck out!” Everyone looked at each other. “Are you fucking stupid? Get out!” Everyone started filling out then, leaving Razzle, Tommy, and Mick the only people in the house.
“Tommy?” Mick asked. “What’s going on?”
“Vince and (Y/n) were in an accident,” Tommy told him, feeling the bile in the back of his throat again. “Vince was being put into a cop car and (Y/n) was being put into an ambulance. I need to get over to Cedar-Sinai. I have to call Nikki. I…” Tommy was starting to breathe heavy. Razzle rubbed his back to help him calm down.
“We’ll go to the hospital and figure this out,” He told him. Mick nodded in agreement. The two drummers and the guitarist piled in Mick’s car, heading towards the hospital where they had taken (Y/n). Mick checked them in at the desk and were sent to a waiting room. Since (Y/n) parents had separated and left California, she had put the band as her contact for the hospital.
“Tommy, sit down,” Mick snapped. Tommy was pacing a rut in the floor, nervous as hell. Razzle was bouncing his leg and Mick was the only one trying to hold it together.
“I can’t,” Tommy told him. “(Y/n)’s been in there forever!”
“T-Bone, please sit down. You’re making my motion sickness come out,” Razzle told him. He was shaking. He had been so close to getting in the car with Vince. If that cute girl hadn’t found him and convinced him to do a line and drink with her, he would’ve been. Instead, (Y/n) was in his place.
“Family of (Y/f/n) (Y/l/n)?” A doctor came out, his scrubs disheveled and he looked upset. Tommy, Razzle, and Mick looked at each other before nodding slowly. “I’m Dr. Goshen. We did everything we could but...I’m afraid that Ms. (Y/l/n) and her baby have passed.”
“B-baby?” Tommy asked.
“Oh my god. She was pregnant?” Razzle asked. The doctor nodded. (Y/n) had found out about her pregnancy at a doctors appointment prior to the accident, and had only told one person, waiting for the right moment to tell Vince that he was going to be a dad.
But it was all gone.
“Shit Tommy!” Mick called out as Tommy’s knees buckled as he went to the floor. He had met (Y/n) through Nikki, who had met her at a gig when he was still with London. In fact, it was the same concert where Tommy had first seen Nikki play, months before he had the courage to talk to him and they started their band. He had always seen (Y/n) like a little sister. They had had a serious talk when her and Vince started dating at the beginning of ‘83, but she loved the blond singer and he completely worshipped her.
“Sir, are you okay?” The doctor asked. Tommy stared ahead. The last time he had seen (Y/n), she was laying on a gurney in an ambulance and looked like she had been dragged through the worst shit imaginable. She wasn’t even smiling, or anything like that. Hell, she might have been dead when he saw her. He motioned for a trash can as he started to puke again.
“God, does Vince know yet?” Mick asked, but nobody answered.

“Let me out!” Vince called from his jail cell. “Where’s (Y/n)? I have to go see her!”
“Sit down and shut up,” A deputy hissed at him.
“No! (Y/n) was in the car with me! They took her to the hospital! She’s my fiancée and I have to make sure she’s okay!” Vince yelled. The deputy looked at the fax he had just gotten. He looked up at Vince and glared.
“Your fiancée and her unborn child are dead,” The deputy told him. “Because of your actions.” Vince froze. (Y/n) was pregnant. (Y/n) was dead. The baby was dead. Vince sat down on the bench in the cell and stared at the wall.
“N-no,” He whispered before the tears started up again. “NO!” He held his head in his hands. (Y/n), the love of his life, was gone. Because of him.
What had he done?

Nikki awoke the next morning and was told that Vince had died. Nikki’s heart clenched in his chest. How was (Y/n) taking it? Was she okay? What about the band? What were they all going to do? Those questions were circling in his mind, especially after (Y/n) had told him she was pregnant, and asked him how she should tell Vince.
Nikki had always been protective of (Y/n). And if he wasn’t always full of Jack, drugs, and self-hate, he would’ve been with her instead of Vince. When the singer had announced that him and (Y/n) had been out on several dates, it took all of Nikki’s strength to not deck him. The way (Y/n)’s eyes lit up when Vince smiled at her helped calm him down, because if (Y/n) was happy, then Nikki could be too.
It was hours later when Mick called, finally reaching out to Nikki.
“You’re a hard prick to track down,” Mick growled.
“Been busy,” Nikki told him, look at the needle and baggie laying on the bedside table of the hotel.
“Well, since you’ve been busy, have you heard the news?” Mick asked.
“Vince is dead. I know.” Nikki sighed. Mick was quiet on the other end for a moment.
“Vince isn’t dead,” Mick told him. “(Y/n) is.”
“W-what?” Nikki asked. “That’s impossible. Everyone said Vince died.”
“No. (Y/n) went with him and the car accident killed her. And Nikki...she was pregnant.” Mick told him.
“I...I’ll have to call you back,” Nikki told him before hanging up, not even hearing the guitarist tell him to wait. Nikki sat there for a minute before he started throwing things, smashing what he could. It wasn’t fair? (Y/n) had her whole life ahead of her. She wanted to help write music. She was about to be a mother. Why had this happened to her?
In the middle of the trashed hotel room, Nikki sat on the floor. He was out of smack for the time being, but he could get more. But he had a notebook in hand, staring at the words of a song he had been working on for her.
