“Oh come on Vincent. It’s not that big of a deal. Besides, my mom loves you.” Sam sat there on the couch with her best friend, trying to convince him to go with her to some family party. Samantha had never been very good at finding decent guys as far as dating went. She almost always ended up getting cheated on and her family made it a point to always point out how alone she was. She didn’t want to deal with it this time, especially since the event in question was a wedding. “You’ll be doing me a huge favor and I’ll owe you big time.” She smiled and leaned into him, looking at him with big hazel puppy dog eyes.
