Lucrecia tries.
Alive, she decides, just. Relief comes tremulously, and it doesn’t last; his chest does not rise or fall in a telltale rhythm of breathing, and he doesn’t stir. What state is this in which he exists? Has he brushed with death’s quiet embrace, only to be pulled backward into some grey inbetween? What could have kept his body from seeking the comfort of nothingness, after enduring such horror?

Honestly? This just happened. I don't think I've ever sketched Lucrecia before, but it was a joy.
What other ships do u like beside your seph/oc ship
Thanks for the ask! I think some people would be surprised at how many Seph ships I enjoy. 😊
Honestly, I like seeing Sephiroth be happy and basically anytime someone is nice to him (in canon or in headcanons) I think they're perfect together, which had led to me shipping a lot of people with him over the years.
For canon character Seph ships, my current favorites are AeriSeph, SephZack, and AGS. I also read a lot of oc stories (I'm a huge fan of reading about ocs), so there's a good chance if there's a Seph x oc story, I'll like it. I love my friends ocs with him, too: Sapphire (@sapphirothcrescent), Bianca (@bardic-tales), and Calluna (@jadedrrose).
For non Seph ships, I love Clerith, Cloti, Aerti, Zakkura, and Zerith, preferably in polycule form (diagram for convenience lol).
Other ships I'm enjoying right now are TsengRu, Vincrecia, and recently Lucrecia/Jenova (which I blame @sapphirothcrescent for; you know what you did).
There's honestly probably a lot I'm just not thinking of right now, too. I'm generally able to find something I like about most ships. Even the ones that aren't my favorite, I understand the appeal and why other people like them. I'm also very much a ship and let ship person. 😊
Sephiroth has 3 parents,
Mother (Lucrecia)
Father (Vincent)
Secret third thing from outer space (ME)
Genderbent Vincrecia because I was just musing on how even more messed up the situation would be if Vinnie was Sephiroth’s mom.
started work on the last part of Ground Zero! After having a bout of creative burnout, I want to get like 75% of the way through the fic before I start posting any of it, so I was wondering if anyone would be interested in some oneshots in the meantime?
It would be the JENOVA three focused, with some Veld and possibly modern day Cloud & co. occasionally thrown in
Would anyone be interested in some oneshots?
yuh
nuh
just get GZ:4 done faster pls
Anyone else think this is very Clerith of them?

Chapter 6: Tea and Talk
Ifalna gets some answers, Vincent gets an admission.
Gast has collected food when Vincent finally makes it out of the shower. There’s a hearty stew, bread, sliced meat, a pot of tea. He’s glad for it; his stomach rumbles, but his head aches, tiredness throbbing behind his eyes. He’s barely slept, and all he wants to do is crash, but there’s still work to be done.
‘It won’t be long before they find out it wasn’t Solis putting the bill for repair in,’ he says, by way of starting the conversation. ‘We have maybe a day, so long as they don’t send anybody else – Ifalna, you said “they,” but there was only one Turk down there.’
She shakes her head. ‘There were multiple people when I left the Professor.’
Gast pours tea into a mug and hands it to Vincent, says, ‘the Turk sent them away seconds before you arrived. I think they were just hired muscle; they certainly weren’t Turks.’
‘So they’ll be pissed that they won’t get paid,’ Vincent says, leans against the wall, as Lucrecia is still perched on the edge of the bed, staring at her hands. ‘Let’s hope they don’t care enough to find out why.’ He sips at the tea; it’s an odd blend, and he’s never really been one for tea, but it’s hot, and it’s palatable. It’ll do. ‘We need to be ready to move.’
Ifalna slurps her own tea. ‘I’ve made connections,’ she says, ‘with a couple of men in town.’
He thinks he hears Lucrecia say, ‘I’m sure you have,’ but when he glances at her, she hasn’t moved, and there’s nothing to suggest she said anything, so he ignores it.
