*Reno is sitting beside Rufus in the back of the car when Rufus opens a small gift bag that had been left on the backseat*

Rufus: Hm. Lip balm and facial cream. And the note says “For your dry lips and neglected skin. —Anonymous.” Tseng is many things, but subtle has never been one of them.

Reno: ...How d’you know it’s from Tseng?

Rufus: Please. After years of working together, I can identify his handwriting instantly.

Reno: ...How does he know your lips are dry?

*Rufus calmly folds the note, reaches for the car door, opens it and throws himself out of the moving vehicle to avoid answering the question*
