The My Therapy video made me realise Tommy’s progress as a vocalist and this video is proof of that.
This is Tommy’s very first work as a vocalist for a metal band. The band sang for back then is called Vindictiv and this was in 2004, so even before Tommy joined SW. The demo is the part of the reason why he was able to join SW. Andreas S remembered Tommy from another project where he only sang a few lines but he thought that Tommy could be good, so SW got the demo which this song was part of. They were impressed with him and gave him the possibility to join the band.
For some reason, the demo got released years later under the name of Firecracker. The demo is unchanged, nothing has been re-recorded or added.
Also, in the announcement and the booklet of this album/demo Tommy’s family name is misspelled as “Kerevik”.
