i was gonna do a lil sketch of them in their uniforms but thatd take me like 1-2 hours and i wanna post this now... maybe ill reblog with a sketch later :3

also the ref i used for the decon room in case anyones wondering what it actually looks like in the show

fun fact, it sounds like Elliott and Sunshine were specifically doing a Star Trek: Enterprise roleplay, since thats the only series besides maybe Lower Decks(?) that has a decontamination room (since the transporters in ENT didnt have the built-in biohazard/virus detector that the other transporters do in the older series)

also never have i ever been more grateful to share a hyperfixation with a content creator bc it means i know exactly what the hell he's talking about whenever he references it in his work :3

do you think Treasure says Porter's name like a priest would say a prayer?

theyre so utterly devoted to him, and who could blame them? hes the first person in years to see them as more than a tool, more than a source of entertainment — he sees them, in their entirety

but in the back of their mind, a cruel habit whispers to them when the sky is dark and theyre pressed close against him — they have to give to keep receiving the blessing of his presence...

so they give themself — mind and body, heart and soul, all devoted to their worship of him, sure that hes the one god that wont abandon them like all the others had

and his name falls so easily from their lips, a well-worn and weathered prayer meant just for him and him alone, its almost scary how naturally it comes to them — are they too much? are they not enough? what will it take for him to stay with them?

but their god banishes those fears when he whispers their name right back to them, saying it like how a priest says a prayer...

Bestie being a retired goth wasnt something i was anticipating, but it came to me in a vision and i had to deliver :3 (smth smth the weight of Blake's secret put such a toll on Bestie's mental health that they couldnt find it within themself to maintain their look at all anymore since they were so focused on just getting through each day while constantly looking over their shoulder for death smth smth)
