growing up in night city is just as fucked as it sounds, even if you have the cushy privileges that comes with a corpo family. Throughout much of his late teens and early adulthood were thankfully manageable thanks to his love and outlet of music. Though it's not something he'd open up about till he met Johnny and later on Kerry.

Vinser doesn't talk about his childhood, or really much at all about his life before the age of 20. Growing up with 11 other siblings was exactly the hell you thought it was, especially with him being the baby. After 11 kids his parents didn't care much to pay him attention for most of his early life, and left his deafness so to speak be untreated up until the age of 11, with only his oldest sibling, his sister being the only one to teach him sign language and honestly love him at all.

once he hit 13 he would begin to get the attention of some of his brothers, unfortunately it wasn't any sort of good attention, Vernon, the 3nd youngest, 2 years older than him would begin to assault him, and the twins ( 17 ) would later join in. This is a secret he would keep for a long time.

As he got older his parents would begin to hound him more, as he remained the only chick left in the nest, they wanted their kid to follow suit of his more successful siblings and get the fuck out, don't shame the family name and legacy.

Luckily for Vinser, at age 20 his sister would get him a job working at Arasaka, the rest is history.
