I would say I'm not freaking out a bit about the outcome of VD but that would be a lie. I'm totally freaking out, and while the last chapter was totally awesome and I loved it so much but I can't help but wonder how you will be able to tie up all the loose ends. Like how will Peggy keep all the secrets? Or will she? ilysm though for writing this adorable story - the same anon who keeps annoyingly asking all these VD questions

So on that note, uh yes, the outcome of the last chapter could definitely have people freaking out and I’m hella glad you are because that was highkey the intention but like. if you’re freaking out…imagine Steve. When Steve finds out. 

There are so many loose ends but oh man, i’ve got just the BEST scene planned next chapter involving Peggy and all of those secrets and it’s gonna get wild real fast and as crazy as it sounds, this is like a huge plot point but it’s not actually…anywhere near the climax of the story? I mean we’re getting there but like I have PLANS

How long does it typically take you to write a VD chapter? Just asking because I absolutely love that fic, it's so lovely, and I can't wait for more!

You’re great, this is a great question, I’m so glad you came to ask it and I’m so so glad you love VD I adore that fic too. 

I wish I had some kind of stable answer for this - if I could chose anything to improve with my writing, it’d be a damn consistent updating schedule. My life is a clusterfuck and I have like 9 wips right now, but I’m forcing myself on this schedule of updating in which I write a chapter for each one and don’t work on the next one until the chapter’s written. So all that said, VD is what I’m working on right now, like literally right now and I have the entire chapter outlined meaning i’ll be able to write it fairly quickly. 

I’m leaving for Europe in two weeks, and I’ll be spending a month there then the rest of August at intensive training camp and then school starts, but the minute we hit September I should be updating regularly again. All that said, it’s my 100% goal to have the next chapter of VD out before I leave for Europe, so you guys will at least have that during my month and a half hiatus. (I will still likely be writing all the time in Europe but I have no idea what my wifi access will be like or my motivations or my business so that’s why I’m like gotta post and update now fam)

ANYWAYS long answer short: It typically takes me longer than I’d like, but I’d say the usual goal is about one a month because I have so many stories. Vintage Datemates is the primary rn though, so if I can possibly update more frequently I will!

Well hello there anon! So I know you wrote this like three days ago, but I’ve been wicked busy busting my ass to finish the next chapter of the very fic you’re inquiring of.

In answer, hooray ! It’s being updated tonight! It’s also 37k! I don’t know how this happened!

I promised to myself I wouldn’t make another monster fic and here I am writing damn 40k chapters and it’s like son I need to Chill. But I’m glad you like the fic enough to come ask, that totally makes my whole day, I really hope you like the update too! Thank you for coming to check!

Oh my god hello

I am working on so many fics right now kill me but I’m having an amazing time ngl

So. The fic that’ll actually probably be posted first is my new crack fic and I know what you’re thinking, what, me, the angstiest of all angst, write crack? 

Yes. Cacw was inspiring, frankly, and I have an entire fic dedicated to Sam Wilson bitching about Bucky Barnes and Steve Rogers, with bonus of T’Challa trying to woo Sam and failing miserably and Steve being 110% turned on by everything Bucky does in CACW it’s. Hilarious and fantastic and it’s gonna be out pretty decently soon I am pumped as hell okay. 

Secondly, I’m so glad you like Vintage Datemates!! It gets supremely cluster-fuck from here and I’ve already got the rest of the plot for that one basically…until the end I just have to write it, y’know? But continue it will :)

As for my more serious fics, I am doing an extension of TIMLB, starting from Ch12, that goes straight into the events of CACW as an alternate ending. And on that note, I’m also writing the sequel to TIMLB that takes place after the epilogue, and that’s a whole other level of crazy. Then I still have those like 12 period pieces I’m chipping away at slowly, but basically I am so so excited you’re excited because man. 

I’m writing writing away and there’s plenty to come, and hopefully super soon!!

Anon hi !! I have so many asks to answer and it’s finals week so I’m not replying like I should but hi!

Vintage Datemates. Shinola, it has been so goddamned long since I updated that fic. And it’s not as high quality as TIMLB either so it’s not like I can actually afford waiting four months to update HOWEVER

I will be !!! soon !!! I just have this epic need to finish TIMLB before Civil War comes out so it’s been draining all of my time. But I am definitely still working on Vintage Datemates. I actually have huge plans for that fic and it’s gonna be super fantastic, I’m genuinely so excited to write it every time I pull it up. 

ESPECIALLY WITH THE NEW AGENT CARTER SEASON ON THE WAY AHHH

But I really do have to get my other fic done before May. So that’s why it’s taking me forever to update. But I will, I promise, and as soon as TIMLB is done then Vintage Datemates becomes the #1 priority fic and we’ll get updates and drama and wonderful vintage gayness out the wazzoo.
