Domaine Huet Cuvée Brut 2015. In the glass, medium gold. On the nose, stone first, then lemon and green apple. First sip is complex: honey, lemon, apple, with stone following the trail of fruit. Green apple and its slight astringency develop on subsequent sips. Maybe a bit of citrus pith. This wine's strength is in the way the citrus and apple meld with the stone aromas. Dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, light bodied, medium flavour intensity but with a long finish that's not a fault. This is a very good bottle that deserves more than being tossed around on a hot patio one afternoon. It's not New Year's level, but it will hold up to a more important event, such as a birthday or an engagement luncheon. It's bright, almost cheery, and wants to be drunk. @dcanterwines @domainehuet #winesoffrance #france #vouvray #cheninblanc #vintage2015 #sparkling #frenchwine #winereview #shoplocal #winestagram #drinkthis #greatwine #winegeek #winereview #wineworld #lovewine #instawine #winelovers #wineenthusiast #winetime (at Hill East, Washington) https://www.instagram.com/p/CiTZylJrIlk/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
