pros and cons of being a viola player
Cons: •you are both the 3rd violins and the 2nd cellos •soMEHOW NEVER LOUD ENOUGH •mistaken for being a violin aLL THE TIME •unappreciated by others •if there's more then 10 cellos, you're gonna drown in there sound son •not playing interesting parts, some reason there's always an 8 measure rest •if you are playing something interesting, it's repetitive and gets boring after a while •violins •that C sTRING BETTER BE LOUD •wanting to hit every single person who isn't a viola in the orchestra Pros: •can make viola jokes without being hit by other violas •vibrato •that rich sound of the C string •backbone for the second violins •we may be quiet but damn can we play beautifully •important •supported by other violas •mutualism with cellos •really fun •we're the cool ones •mostly connects with band kids •lot of more opportunities •chill people tbh •competitive •makes everything into a game •bREATHING •great tbh
My friend stole my cello and is trying to say that he is some prodigy and is trying to do this style of vibrato that he is failing at
