:: Left broken.
« What happened to you ? Demanda-t-il. - I lost my eye after the war, but I guess you already know that, as I am not the only Silverstein injured during the last battle. I usually don’t wear this thing… At least, I didn’t for a while now, because I wear a kind of glass eye. Like you, I wasn’t sure about that. »
« My husband convinced me. I know Kassandra wouldn’t dare forcing you on anything and I bet she doesn’t even mention this possibility, because she wants you to know that she loves you completely, for who you are and even if you are not complete or broken. Because she does. She hides the same softness that any Silverstein carries deep inside. »
« Haven’t you never had the dream to hold her with two arms, tightly ? Reprit Viola avant de baisser les yeux. Sometimes, I curse myself I’ve never been brave enough to reveal to my husband how much I already loved him before this tragedy. When I woke up from my coma and realised what happened to me, I renounced instantly to all the hope I carried until then, to be loved again. After all, removing her beauty to a succubus is like cut the wings of an angel and kill each ounce of purity in it. But Nikolaï was by my side, no matter how difficult it has been. At the beginning, I tried to tell him that since his health was improving, he should leave and find someone to love, someone unbroken, someone who wouldn’t be dangerous for him, someone truly beautiful. He was here, when I was crying, looking at the reflect of my face in the mirror. He never left, when I was mad, crying and screaming at him that he deserved better and should leave, dit-elle avant de lever les yeux vers Théodorus. You never had the opportunity to dance with her, did you ? She was and is still, beautifully gracious when she dances. I can’t force you to give a try to this possibility of prothesis, but I want you to see it as a way to avoid some frustrations… You and I, we know the loss was worth everything and that if we had the choice, we would do it again, because they are the most precious we have. »
