Does the stealth capabilities making getting in close for the kill much easier count?
No, because that’s a passive tool- it’s like how a helmet protects your head. If you headbutted someone while wearing a helmet, then you’d be weaponizing your helmet, but the helmet protecting you doesn’t make the helmet itself a weapon.
But anyway, the stealth factor only really works with Grimm- they see by sensing emotions, and Ren’s aura masks them- at least, it’s stated as masking them, but we see from both his first fight back in volume one and the flashback to when his semblance developed that it also calms them, and we see from the fight with the Nuckelavee that he can mask other people as well.
So could he use his semblance on someone he’s fighting? Mask their emotions from themselves? Make them calm the fuck down and stop raging?
