౨ৎ ARCANE women | failed surprise

JINX

-the type person who spirals and jumps to the most soul crushing conclusions in their relationship is jinx; you could pull away from her in your sleep or simply turn away from her to sneeze and she’d think about it for weeks, beating herself up about something that her conscious tells her is a sign that she’ll push you away like everyone else; the surprise and thoughtfulness of it all makes her cry like a baby, though she does deny it at first she doesn’t pull away from your embrace; you do have a heart to heart and agree on no more surprises because her heart and mind cannot take another spiral regarding your relationship, also she tells you to stay by her side regardless of what your doing

VI / VIOLET

-vi isn't the type of girlfriend that get jealous, she's someone who is secure in your relationship because she knows you inside and out and you know her just as well, however when she notices you sneaking around she can't help but overthink, are you hiding something from her? did she do something wrong? is all she can think, though she does end up sitting with her thoughts for a while she bluntly asks what's going on and when you respond with a vague and totally not suspicious answer she quietly observes and spoils her surprise (vi pretends to be shocked but later admits to knowing all along)

CAITLYN

-mature on the outside, slightly panicking on the inside; understands sometimes one of you (or both) get very busy with work and other things in life, but can’t help but feel somewhat jealous at the lack of attention towards her; wants you all to herself and you being preoccupied with something that she does not know about keeps her up at night; she figures it might be a nice surprise you’re planning for her, and it is but the little voice in the back of her head nags that it’s something she dreads; eventually you notice how it’s eating away at her and you rush your planning to get everything ready for her; she loves it, though the small pout on her lips after she realizes it really was something nice makes you never want to never hide anything from cait ever again

SEVIKA

-is used to your shenanigans by now, though she can't help but sometimes wonder why you would choose her over anyone else, so when she sees you being secretive she worries in a way only she knows how: self-destructive; she unconsciously starts to push you away because she assumes your big surprise is a breakup, which is awkward when she stumbles upon your journal where you've been planning your surprise and documenting all of sevika's favorite things she feels horrible for assuming you'd do anything to hurt her, admits during the surprise that she knew already

MEL

-can read you like an open book, knows exactly what you're doing and finds it amusing, you can't hide anything from mel, it's like the moment you have the thought of surprising her with something she reads your mind instantly; she enjoys seeing you try and surprise her with something new, though she thinks it practically impossible because she claims to have seen it all, but you get sneakier and more sure of yourself: surprising mel with a beautiful romantic gesture that she'll never forget; mel immediately notices this change, and falters at the thought of something else but melts upon the reveal

-can't believe you could see yourself in the same light she sees herself, has a moment of reflection where she finally sees how bad self harm really is, makes you promise together that you both will stop; lots of crying and slight babbling through sobs about how you are beautiful and loved; the effects of this end up lasting for a couple of days afterward, you two are closer than before and even though some secrets used to be kept from each other, now you share all your emotions even if it's sometimes hard to talk about

VI / VIOLET

-hates herself for not seeing the signs before, feels as if it’s her responsibility to take care of you and even if it’s something that you kept hidden from her purposefully she still feels like she failed as a partner, cries during the entire thing, becomes a moment where you both spill all your dark thoughts and bad feelings to one another, crying in each others arms and ever risky settling into a quiet cuddle, after she wants nothing more than to make you smile again

CAITLYN

- her world actually shatters, she can’t imagine ever viewing you in the same way (wanting to cause you pain), keeps her composure during the intervention (walking in on you in the process of), after you’ve calmed down and talked about what led you to that point and your laying beside her in bed, holding onto her like a lifeline she can’t help but let it all out, she bawled her eyes out while laying next to you and makes a promise to herself and you (though asleep) that she would never let you feel the same way again

EKKO

-he's the type of person who prides themselves in helping others with anything so when he finds out you've been secretly struggling, he beats himself up for it; comforts you by holding you close but not tightly, not wanting to hurt you anymore than (in his mind) ignoring your struggles; wishes he could take your mental health problems away and deal with them himself, doesn't want you have that burden; makes you promise that you'll tell him everything on your mind so he can prioritize your well being and make sure you're okay

JINX

-she's definitely got separation anxiety especially if you've been together since childhood, so she likes to be as close as physically possible. at first in your relationship she won't be the one to first initiate cuddling and other physical affection because she worries that she'll scare you away; needs reassurance that her affection is always welcome. latches onto you like a human backpack, she isn't the kind of person that can have casual and light touches or cuddles, she craves a stronger form of love; when you hug, hold hands, etc. if you're cuddling you two are holding each other very tightly, she also has the habit of randomly grabbing you and squeezing or pinching, but it's not malice just her checking if you're really real

VI / VIOLET

-out of everyone here, she wins the award for best and most affectionate! she is a huge cuddler and (I repeat) is the best at it. prefers being the big spoon when cuddling and sleeping or napping, maybe it's the fact that protecting is in her blood or maybe it's the butch in her lol. greetings and goodbyes are never complete without a bear hug that transitions into a dramatic romcom moment where she spins you around and then kisses you. loves when you relax and just melt into her when she initiates closeness. claims that she doesn't feel mushy on the inside whenever you hug her from behind, cuddle her as the big spoon, etc. but she does but feels to shy to say anything; needs reassurance but won't admit it, dote on her please!

CAITLYN

-just like how she always knows what to say, she knows what to do to make you feel better; can sense if you need a hug or cuddles, or if you need space. prides herself in knowing how to read your body language and will never cross boundaries, especially physical ones. is the depiction of every single love language put into one. acts like a tsundere in public but initiates all physical affection in private. you won't ever need a teddy bear to hug at night when you have her, yes she gets jealous of your plushies if you sleep with them. publicly shows affection by putting a hand on your shoulder and squeezing or just resting her hand on your head, almost like she's holding her cuteness aggression back

EKKO

-he just seems to know when you need a hug or need to hear something sweet, but does ask beforehand if that's what you want at that moment; doesn't push you to cuddle or make out even if he feels like he'll go crazy if he doesn't touch you, he values your feelings and boundaries over his needs; big believer of always telling his partner good morning/night, and how much they love them everyday, he never lets you go to sleep angry or leave home without this; great listener and will remember the little things; makes you laugh all the time because he loves the sound of your laughter; likes when you hold onto his arm and will do the same thing, he also enjoys playing with your hair a lot so please teach him how to style it

-the stereotypical character in every zombie movie who seems to be perfectly prepared for the apocalypse, has all the guns and ammo for an entire military base, and if she somehow runs out she’ll just make more she’s crafty like that, lived off of non perishables and will continue to do so, has the coolest most unique base where she lives alone, it’s high off ground and booby trapped for any survivors who might try and steal from her, thrives off the mostly quiet life, has every weapon imaginable 

VI / VIOLET

-though she makes some questionable choices sometimes she is overall a great survivor, makes a lot of jokes to herself and laughs at them too, prefers snacks over actual cans of food, her base is an RV she found and fixed up, can fix and restore anything (bob the builder lesbian), has driven across the country in hopes of finding survivors but never seems to have the luck of finding anything other than zombies, does insane parkour for no reason  

CAITLYN

-perfect survivor, but can’t help but grimace at every zombie she has to kill, hates every second life during an apocalypse, she can survive with little because she can make it work but wishes she had the food and tea from before, snipes any zombies before they even get near her base, lives in an empty government building, can patch up any injury, light sleeper who can’t sleep upon hearing even the slightest noise

EKKO

-the type of person who swears they have never trained or stocked up on food and water for a possible apocalypse but secretly does, is pretty confident in his ability to survive and fight off zombies, finds the perfect base where he brings other survivors (the boy savior <3), truly does it all, from building things from scraps, great at scavenging for food and other supplies, cooking with limited ingredients, and even patching up all kinds of injuries
