Also just to drop in a lil Tumblr update since I always forget to do that! I have just finished the first draft of the 3rd book in my Violet Veil Mysteries series (hooray, cheers, applause etc). It took forever thanks to, among other things, Covid, Childcare, Crohn's disease, Cats, Cycling accidents (husband broke his arm) and probably some other things that begin with C.

My lovely new editor Nat, who you might know from editing the Murder Most Unladylike series, has just got the edits back to me as well, so hopefully I will be full steam ahead with that soon. The book is due to be published next year.

When I was writing this book I actually had a metal playlist with a song for every chapter - I’ll hopefully share it next week. I’ve also been building the location in The Sims! It is scary to have a new series starting in lockdown so I’m doing my best to get the word out - thank you for reading <3
