Garrett x Violet

Tee hee hee. I'm back! (because my life is going to shit, so I am now procrastinating a lot of insane shit via Teen Wolf again)

ANYWAY! Violet and Garrett are both really interesting characters, and we only know them for a little bit in the show. We don't get a lot of information on them, so a lot of what I'm going to say is gonna be conjecture and personal opinion (also haven't seen the Vi and Garrett scenes in a while, so cut me some slack) <3

Violet seems like such a girlboss in the way where I don't wanna call her a girlboss yk? It feels like she definitely took on a lot of responsibility at a young age, and maybe is now (as an 'adult') still taking all that responsibility. They're both orphans, as far as we can tell, and it feels like Violet takes on the parental role. It feels like she's taking care of Garrett and letting him do all the fun shit (like playing lacrosse, going to parties, and making friends). It could just be that they needed Garrett to get close to Scott, but at the same time, it also feels like Violet could have done something similar on her own.

Garrett is very 'boys will be boys' to me. I feel as if he's got this boyish charm and nature, the cheery smile and sports aesthetic make him easy to trust. It's a good con, but I don't know how much Garrett had to do with that. Garrett seems like he's in charge, which we see a bit where he decides he has to kill Scott instead of waiting to kill Liam. But at the same time, you can see that Violet is both surprised and not at all.

I'd say they have a very flip-flopping relationship. I can see them being very on and off, though it's never really off. because there's nothing that could possibly split them up. I genuinely believe that if someone tried to drive a wedge between them, they wouldn't be able to. Like, they know enough about each other that they can't lie to each other, and no one can lie to them about each other.

All they have is each other, and I think it's interesting that they don't really seem like that. They do a lot of work with others, in terms of making friends for their own gain, but the only ones who understand them are each other. It feels like Violet and Garrett are two sides of the same coin. You can't separate them, but they can never look at each other.

Does any of this make sense? Am I just talking in circles? Am I simply stating the obvious? Who fucking knows! I now have to apply to transfer colleges bc mine is closing right before my senior year! Isn't that fab!

Violet x Garrett

Comfort and forever. This is how Garrett saw Violet. She wasn't something violent to him, she was soft but a bite. She was fresh air and the deepest depths of the ocean. She was poetry to him.

Garrett likes just watching Violet. Seeing the way she moves and the way she goes about something, it's almost kind of like obsession and devotion; he'd watch her do anything

Violet would do anything to see Garrett laugh. She'd make herself look like a complete fool just to see him crack a smile and giggle a bit

Neither of them cook very much, though Garrett is a bit more of a chef; he can follow a simple recipe. Violet is someone who would burn water and really dislikes having to cook at all

They don't get close to anyone other than each other. It's a very close relationship. There aren't ever secrets, and when they fight, it is disastrous

Sparring with each other is a date kind of thing; it's always something Violet finds fun and almost hot. Garrett fights to win, and so does she. Even within sparring and practising, there is always a winner

They both enjoy partying and dancing, vibing with other people. Violet adores being in crowds, and Garrett just likes seeing her face light up

When they fight, they move mountains; it's disastrous, as mentioned earlier. They don't have friends, but if they did, there would be sides to be picked, there would be choices to be made. Someone has to win

So I've seen a lot of posts from people worried that next week's episode title, Orphaned, means something will happen to Sheriff. And while I can't guarantee that nothing will happen to the Sheriff I'm almost 100% sure that the episode title refers to Violet and Garrett!

When Mason Dye was on Wolf Watch, he was asked about the background of the two characters and he mentions that they're orphans. Also, in this past Monday's ep Mason tells us that they seem to be squatting in an unfinished housing development, meaning they don't have a permanent home. Also, the Wolf Watch sneak previews shows Kate trying to get info out of one of the Benefactors workers and he mentions a duo called The Orphans.

So most signs seems to be pointing to the title referring to Violet and Garrett. I hope that putts some of your minds at ease!
