≫ Summary: “You are the reason, the reason I'm alive I must bring you honor If I don't, I'll die."

In which Jayce survives season two and goes to Noxus with Mel. There, they navigate the depths of their brokenness together.

The deck lurches violently beneath Jayce and he’s flung backward, skidding across the burning planks with a strangled cry. Viktor screams his name, but he barely hears it over the roar of fire and tearing wood. His head cracks against the railing, pain exploding behind his eyes in a white-hot burst that steals the air from his lungs. The world pitches and blurs. Black spots swarm his vision as his body betrays him, going slack all at once. He slams into the rail, wood splintering and giving way, and then he’s airborne, plunging through smoke and flame before crashing into the dark water below.

It's then that Mel moves.

Her heart is pounding so fiercely she can barely breathe. Her eyes strain against the darkness around her, scouring for any trace of the young sailor among the flaming planks of wood and debris bobbing in the water. 

She turns just in time to see him sink below the waves. She dives after him without a second thought.

Chapter 3 of Strange As a Dream, Real as The Sea out now~

Funny and/or crazy stuff that happens in my fanseason so far:

- Wu gets poisoned by a giant cave spider (he recovers though)

- The gang sings sea shanties, led by Zane in his pirate voice

- Hanzō continues to struggle with his crippling apple addiction

- Kira and Lloyd try to act like they’re over their breakup when literally everyone can see they’re still in love

- Lloyd admits he’s tried to dye his hair black

- Kai almost drowns (I wrote this before Seabound and now I’m convinced I might have the gift of prophecy)?? Anyway Pixal saves him

- Zane gets a crystal arm

- The group finds out why an entire realm disappeared but it’s not what they think

- In true Ninjago fashion, the Bounty crashes yet again

LEGO RECONDITE

So there’s a reason I’ve been largely inactive lately - I’ve been working on this! RECONDITE is a LEGO World Builder project that I hope to pitch to LEGO as a TV or streaming series. It’s about a group of friends trying to prevent chaos in their city, so if you like cyberpunk type stuff and/or character-driven stories, you might like it :o
