I am probably shouting into the void here and of course everyone is entitled to their privacy but I am so so curious about what happened with all of chrmdpoet’s Swan Queen fics... It seems they’ve all been taken down? Same goes for several other creators that were big in the fandom. It sucks that all their fic is just gone and I would love to know what happened.

Slow burn AU that starts with two women from different parts of the USA meeting on Twitter. Emma is an insomniac loner who is a Personal Trainer. Regina is a writer with a sleepless baby. Their lack of sleep and love for coffee soon brings them together and after that they find it hard to part. This is a fic where coffee is taking to mythical levels, despite it’s bad effect on people with insomnia and people with babies - showing that sometimes what you need and want isn’t always the thing that is wholesome and harmless. But also that denying yourself it will only lead to misery, something which Regina has to apply to other parts of her life.

One of my favorite authors is deleting their ff.net account TODAY. Their works that were on ff.net (and more!) will continue to be on AO3. I thought I’d make a post so everyone checks out their page and doesn’t think the author just disappeared. :)

Hi @violetscentedwriter, this is my contribution to our lovely project called Operation Violet, to let you know how much we love you. Since I can't draw and my fanvid-making abilities are very limited, I've decided to make a little review of two or your fanfics: "Whose jealous of the big bad wolf" and "Blow your house down". For those that haven’t read these fics, two things: there will be spoilers and, WHAT ARE YOU DOING STILL READING THIS?! GO AND READ THESE FICS!!! WHAT’S WRONG WITH YOU?!?

These two fics are the ones responsible for me shipping Red Swan Queen. I guess some could take a look at both of them and say "but of course you like them, you're a guy and these fics are super smutty". And it's partly true, because, what there is not to like about the sexy bits.

But if you only focus on the sex, you're missing too much of the actual story. I loved Ruby in these fics, she incredibly tired of her inability to satisfy her sex drive, but she's able to control herself and function somewhat normally.

She approaches Emma in a very calmed but direct way, telling her what she needs, never demanding and always respecting her. She never expects Emma to do something she's not comfortable with.

And she also takes the opportunity to set up the perfect way to bring Emma and Regina together. She knows they have it bad for the other, but can't stand to see them like this. She also makes it clear she would like to partake in the mind blowing, amazing sex the sheriff and the mayor are bound to have. But even so, her heart is in the right place, and their happiness is more important than her need.

She eventually gets to share their bed, and it's done in a very believable way, with Regina already being all jealous of their past relationship, even when it was purely physical. She's not very sure about herself and fears that she would lose Emma or that she'll have to fight for her. And that first time, when she only lets her see and not touch, hot damn!!!

Those are some of the reasons I love these two fanfics, but it's the last scene, and particularly the last lines that made laugh so hard, that made me love them. I'm talking about when Snow talks to Ruby about how she knows that there's some kind of deal between Emma, Regina and Ruby, and says:

"Make sure they are ok, Red. Let me know if I can help them somehow, but just don't give me any details on what the three of you get up to. I just couldn't stand all the… porn."

When I read it I couldn't believe it, that you had put that in the fic, and in such a funny and brilliant way. A laugh so hard my back, my stomach and my head hurt. I just love this, so much.

And I also love all your other fics I've read, but for this occasion I'm supposed to only talk about these two, which I picked for the reason that they were the first fics I read from you and also because they were the first Red Swan Queen fanfics I've ever read, even when it's not romantic RSQ.

So, I hope this was suitable contribution to the project, and I also hope it shows you how much we love you and your masterful writing. Love ya!!! 😘
