Selelective means that you RP only with mutuals(aka people who you follow and follow you back) and non selective is that you RP with literally everyone, even if you don't like them. And oh, private means you rp only with a blog's interpretaion.
// Thank you for the explanation!
No, based on that criteria I’m not selective. The reasons I follow/don’t follow/unfollow blogs usually have nothing to do with the player or character in question. Sometimes I forget, often it’s about keeping my dash somewhat organized, plus my computer isn’t always good with handling too many gifs at once. I don’t want to police anyone’s right to post whatever they want, so it’s easier to just not follow. That doesn’t mean that I have any problem with said person!
I wouldn’t RP with someone if I didn’t like them, but to further expand on that: I don’t easily dislike people, so if I dislike you, I will always think it’s best if we just don’t interact at all. So far I haven’t come across anyone on tumblr that I feel that way about.
I’m obviously open to playing with different versions of the same character, I do that all the time. I’m at, what, five Lestats? And counting. For AU versions of characters and different takes and other reasons, I might put things into a different verse than the main one I’m developing for Nicolas on here, but that’s just to avoid confusion.
There are and always will be players whose style doesn’t mesh so well with mine, for whatever reason, and that doesn’t mean that they are not good, simply that I don’t feel we work together that well. That doesn’t necessarily mean that I'm not still willing to reply to asks and otherwise engage.
So, in short: I’m willing to try playing with just about anyone and if I for whatever reason wouldn’t want to, I’d let you know. Of course in private and politely. You following me or me following you isn’t a requirement and I don’t mind anyone approaching me to plot or just sending an ask or something like that.
