00.  ⟡ STARTER !     SETTING :  THE PALACE, 10:34PM / jan 1967.

                      the  trait  of  physical  restraint  that  was  once  sewn  to  woods’  character  has  frayed  lightly  under  the  chafing  of  growing  sexual  confidence  -  the  new  year’s  kiss  can  still  be  felt  on  his  lips  (  it’s  been  nearly  a  week  now  ),  a  magic  moment  immortalised  in  the  way  he  stares  at  perry.  except  this  night  the  whites  of  his  eyes  are  tinted  with  red,  marijuana  smoke  curling  around  his  broad  bust  as  he  leans  into  perry’s  space,  the  room  dancing  around  him  in  invisible  pulses.  his  frame  is  tickled  by  the  sensitivity  wrapping  around  him  and  he  can’t  stop  the  smile  rejuvenating  his  often  stoic  face  with  a  childish  glow.  he’s  never  felt  this  high  before.  over  the  moon.    ❛❛  i  wonder  if  how  i  feel  righ’  now  is  how  fifteen  yea’  old  boys  feel  when  they  realise  th’  gerl  they  like  is  sittin’  next  to  ‘em.  ❜❜

Honestly, a vast majority of the time, Evangeline’s just wearing whatever she wore to the studio that day... considering the fact she lives only a block away, and she both learns and works there, it only makes sense. Leotards, leg warmers, tights, all tucked under a too-large coat or sweater is the typical garb. For the rest of the time, she really only has a couple qualifications for outfits she genuinely enjoys-- Evangeline likes her street clothes loose so they can move with her, she prefers them to be soft instead of the pinching of ballet costumery, and she loves delicate details / floral print / pastels. 

Evangeline hates pants. Loathes them. You’ll never, ever see her in jeans or trousers ( willingly ). She just loves being lovely, is that such a crime?

Send ☄ for one random headcanon I have for my muse!

           vernon basically doesn’t have a sense of smell. it’s almost completely dead. as in, sure, maybe a couple of his olfactory receptors have clung to life in there somewhere, but unless something stinks like a dead body or a meth lab, he’s just not going to pick up on it. this means that since he can’t actually smell it, he uses way too much cologne and he tends to be pretty heavy-handed with the incense and scented candles.

   most of the time , when perry marchand speaks ( or any kind of undead blood - sucking geriatric pain in the ass , really ) , two distincts voices begin chanting in her head . one , soft and soothing , saying don’t be mad , he’s lived through a lot , he’s just like everyone else deserving protection — this voice , however , is more often than not outbested by another distinct voice , chanting a single word : murder . so he speaks , and she immediately begins trying to remember where thomas keeps his vampire - hunting kit . or if one of her chairs is expendable to be turned into a homemade stake , really . “ perry , i want to be clear with you ” — uttered through gritted teeth , barely more than a hiss . “ if you hit on him one more time , just one time , i swear i will turn you into an undead version of a corn dog and let you roast in the midday sun — are we clear ? ”
