I’ve been a little hesitant and “meh” regarding getting excited about anything considering the blazing dumpster fires VIPs have had to navigate on this supposed road of flowers that turned out to contain razor sharp thorns that will tear your heart out (and a sympathetic shoutout to iKonics, you don’t deserve the recent epic garbage of your own either.)
I’ve been buoyed by the steadfast determination of Daesung and Taeyang to be out there no matter what, being seen, making fans happy, and carrying the BigBang banner for now “until whenever”. They deserve a lot of credit for remaining out there and positive through everything.
I’m finally allowing for a little excitement about TOP returning to public life, to whatever extent he chooses. It’s been a long time and some of it was rather scary and serious. I’m just happy he’s here, he’s healthy, and has a fresh chapter ahead of him.
Sure, there’ll be petty netizens who’ll run their mouths, antis with nothing better to do than be obnoxious, YGEntertainment’ and BigBang’s future status not officially known, etc.
But I’m here for it, for TOP, & for BigBang. I’m happy for the reminder not everything is terrible right now. There’s still some good stuff to look forward to.
I don't really care about Seungri anymore, I just hope the other members are okay. It can't be easy to process everything that is happening, especially while enlisted. They are going to come back to a mess. Hopefully they can stay out of the spotlight until they are ready to confront everything that has happened and the public doesn't force it on them.
