viral is SUCH an interesting character actually. i’m thinking specifically of his scene in episode 26- which is probably overanalyzed, but the thing is. it’s fucking BADASS!! like he has this option to kick back and have this family that he never really could have as a beastman, he ISN’T a beastman he’s human like his shark teeth are gone, which is crucial he isn’t HIMSELF! and then he realizes what’s going on and he grins with his real face, as this sharp + angry person who regrets lost possibilities maybe but fundamentally knows who he is!!
