Dick Grayson made his own language when he was young.

While at Haley's Circus, he and a few other circus kids decided they needed a way to communicate without the adults knowing what they were saying. That’s when Dick came up with his language. It was originally nonsensical, but later took on structure and syntax.

Between practices, Dick would write the rules and words into a dictionary. Fast-forward a few years, and you are helping Dick clean out a few things from his old room in the manor. That's when you find it, the dictionary.

Dick's ears burned as you showed him the book. He tried to pry the book away from you, but you weren't having it. You read out a couple of words, poorly.

And Dick couldn't help but correct you, through mortified murmurs. You'd say the word slowly this time, stumbling again. Dick corrects you one more time, exaggerating the pronunciation.

Then you get it and beam at Dick, sapping all his need for air. You ask Dick to teach you a few more words.

I just feel like,

Miguel would go every.single.day in a little café to order hot chocolate.

Why ? He doesn't even like chocolate or milk, but he does it anyways, just to see the smile on your face and the way you making it while talking thing like :

you must really like hot chocolate ! I do too haha.

He just loves it, the way you talk about anything and everything to him even if he never answer, even if he seems pissed off by your nonsense. The first time he ask for one, it was for Mayday and like the very next one you said

" I love hot chocolate too, that nice to see people still liking this drink "

He didn't budge really, just stared at you. He doesn't like to make useless discussion but your voice ? Your smile ? He doesn't want to talk not because he don't like it but because he only want to hear your voice.

He comes everyday now, after mission to ask the same hot chocolate, he could ask for coffee but he saw how you frown at the smell. He think it's a bit adorable but doesn't show it, grumpy like always.

Miguel loves the way you look up at him with this bright smile of yours. The way you talk to him so easily and doesn't seem scared of him like most people. He just ... loves you.

And then he dumbfuck you in the rest room yeah
