Hey Martine, I hope I am not violating your no request/wcif policy (If yes, sorry and ignore me ^^°), but I wanted to ask you how you got your Sims 1 to work. I've been looking at your pictures and I've gotten all achey in my heart, and my (freshly installed) Win 7 Lap Top always requests me to uninstall Sims 1 when I want to start it after rebooting the system, no workaround found yet. What kind of system did you use?

Hi, no worries! I’m still running Windows 7 on my laptop, so that should work. I accidentally uninstalled TS1 last week when I was cleaning out some old programs, whoops. I’m trying to find the installer I used… I have a feeling it was this version by Games4theworld. Hope that helps a little.

I would say a Strip Mall but this Neighborhood looks too nice for Strip Malls. How about small Shops in wall 2 wall 2story Brick Buildings from the good old Times?

Restaurants of various kinds in some of the top spots to draw crowds from the stadiums.

More community lots or hood deco in the upper left would fit with that "district"--maybe a gym, garage/gas station, some kind of general or department store, science-y place. On the outskirts of town is usually where these "less pretty" buildings are in RL. And for the downtown strip, maybe some specialty boutiques? Cafés? More houses? Another type of park like public gardens or a playground?

This is how it looks right now, i got some recreated lots from the Sims Old Town (the ones in purple) , and i’m planning on make them over to fit more the current Pleasantview. Also found a lovely Town hall for the place that i also need to makeover, not like Pleasantview needs a big one, but ... maybe here’s where Mary-sue works (?) also thinking about it, i might need to build a small police-firefighters station (?) idk...

Well, let’s see. I’ve been a table top RPGer since I was 12 and I’m going to be 45 this month. I helped run a living campaign on the gaming circuit in the UK for about 4-5 years and the last two were pretty much playing Pathfinder when D&D v4 turned into a huge card game; so...

I’d say about 4 versions of D&D, Pathfinder and various systems (I was addicted to Cyberpunk for a while and preferred it over Shadowrun, believe it or not. Give me my sci-fi straight up! I played DnD for the magic stuff.) Oh, CLEARLY have played Call of Cthulhu, don’t you think?

Hmmm.

I’d say probably quite a bit. I’m comfortable on both sides of that GM screen.
