It’s hard to believe that in about 8 hours I will find myself once again in the same beautiful country that touched my life just a year and a half ago...I’m humbled by the grace God has shown me in the past few days—despite getting stuck in Toronto for an entire day, losing my luggage, and getting less than three hours of sleep, I’m still somehow here, sitting at the airport, peaceful and ready to begin a journey I know I won’t return from unchanged. God is funny in that way: He doesn’t guarantee a smooth ride, or even safety or assurance everything will go according to plan...but He DOES guarantee His love, peace, and powerful Spirit that encourages and provides for us in ways that have eternal, lasting value. As I head to Haiti, my head is bowed and my hands are opened, in complete surrender to what He has in store. This isn’t my/our mission; this is God’s sovereign plan, and I know He will lead us to wherever and whomever we need to go. . . Please pray that God’s will will be done, and His kingdom come during this trip, and that all glory would go to Him always. :) Love you all, God bless you, and may you have an empowering, Spirit-filled start to the New Year. ❣️ . . #haiti #visiontrip #day1 #humbledbyHisgrace #surrenderedtoHiswill #expectant #excited #overjoyed #Heisgood #Hispromisesaretrue #SovereignGod #GoodFather #trustinHim #happynewyear #2018 #starttheyearright #Godblessyou (at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI))
