Hiking pic from earlier this summer when i climbed the mountain behind the house. It was rather foggy but the temperture was high, so i had a feeling that the cloud layer would be rather low. I climbed to about 200 meters (i guesstimate) and was rewarded with this view. A taste of Sahara in the arctic. Winds from africa have brought sand from the desert all the way up here to 67 degrees north and have granted us with stunning sunsets the last few days. The sun, being a bright dot above the red horizon, makes me think of the pictures the rovers on Mars have sent us.
